I am looking to replace my boiler (I have steam heat) in a house that I purchased last year. I know that Weil Mclean is one of the better brands. I got an estimate to have this boiler installed and when I asked about other brands, the heating specialist told me that the cost difference was so little for the efficiency that I wanted that it would not even matter.

The pricing was appropriate, but is there really minimal differences in cost between the various brands? What are the more reliable brands anyways?

GET AT LEAST THREE MORE PRICES. SEE IF YOU CAN GET ANOTHER DEALER TO BID THE IDENTICAL WEIL MCLEAN. TAKE THE TIME AND YOU ARE BOUND TO SAVE MONEY.
