And occassionally laundry as well? I have tried switching detergents and adding Febreeze to the wash cycle but it hasn't helped really. Also have tried sponges but they seem to sour as quickly, possibly even faster. Unknowingly picking up a soured rag is just gross!

The doors open outwards so that will not be a problem but there are windows on either side of the door so I am wondering where the panels will go when opened to accomodate getting out the door.

The leaves are really dark green, fan like leaves. It is a good climbing tree for kids. It's branches are very long and hang out over the drive, the house, the street.

I have a home that is old, and there is what I call a bump that is noticeable on one wall. I was going to paint, and was told that I would have to sand, then mud, then sand again before I could event think about painting. I did not know exactly what I will have to have to do the job, and how hard is to do for someone with no experience in repairs????

I have a ficus tree stump that I would like to use a base for an outdoor table. But I don't want the roots to continue to grow because they are near the foundation of my home. Is it possible for the tree stump to remain sturdy enough to be used as a table but at the same stop the spreading of the roots. Should I drill a hole in the tree stump and fill it up with some type of weed or root killer?

I live in northern New Jersey. For a very full, weed free lawn, what would be a good yearly schedule for me to follow for when to seed and when to use the weed and feed broken out by month of the year?

I am willing to seed several times a year as well as do the weed and feed several times a year as well.

Thanks!!

Do you HAVE to always dry out seeds before you plant them?
I have planted some sweet pepper seeds straight from the peppers and they are not sprouting.
Be kind, I have never planted anything before!

I just had new white/gray ceramic tiles placed in my basement. The grout color that the contractors used was beige.
1) Is this an appropriate color to use?
2) If I don't like the color is there something I can use to change the color now that the grout is set already?
3) Is there some protecting spray or liquid that I'm supposed to use on the grout to prevent it from staining?

Thanks!

I don't mean like house cleaners, I mean someone who you can pay to tidy your house for you. (God that makes me sound lazy lol - I just don't have enought time recently & my partner is useless at any kind of housework!) If so, what are they called or anyone know of any weblinks to such services? Thanks.

Okay, so I've never been a "home-maker" except for keeping a clean home.

Not many pictures on the walls, shades but no curtains on the windows...

Hubby and I used to never be at home, so we didn't care too much...now we have children, and I want the house to look like a home.

Ideas will GREATLY be appreciated!
