The doors open outwards so that will not be a problem but there are windows on either side of the door so I am wondering where the panels will go when opened to accomodate getting out the door.

You could get shutters that are ceiling fixed and fold back to the walls. This would prevent them being fixed to the window frame where they would have to be separate panels and would impinge on the light.

you would need to get the Constantina type shutters they will be a bit more expensive but very worth it.

yes, but i can't excacly tell you how doe but my dad builds house and he say it looks very nice
