I'm not exactly sure where it is, as I went a long time ago, but I live in socal so it might be around there somewhere. Of course you had to pay to get in, but it was a huge place divided into different gardens with different themes. I'm wondering if it still exists and knows what and where it is. If you don't could you guys direct me to another nice public garden?

I will soon be remodeling my kitchen and have space for one cups and glasses cabinet. It will be 42" high, but for the width, I am not sure if I should put an 18" single door or an 24" double door. This kitchen serves a 3 bedroom house, and this will be the only space for glasses and cups.
Thanks

I've lived in my house for 2 years now and have always felt the water bills seemed high. So recently I did some investigating and calculated i was using 66 gallons per day (based on my bills) In addition i read my water meter one week ago and again today. According to this monitoring, im using 85 gallons per day. I checked and it only takes 30 gallons when i shower. So I'm wondering what could be causing all the extra water use. I do have those old style radiators that run water thru them. However it is still summer and I am not heating the house. does water still get pumped through these radiators. maybe I should turn the valve off during the summer? I'm not ever sure that valve will turn?

A beautiful, well-built, custom home that is just large enough to accomodate your family (1500 sq. ft. 1 story) or a huge (3600 sq. ft. 2 story) cookie-cutter house that is average quality? List your reasons, please.

I have a hugh red brick fireplace that's 23 years old and want to update it by painting it a lighter color to make it appear more modern. I don't want to ruin it by doing it wrong. Any advise would be appreciated.

I have an older push mower. About a month ago, I changed the oil (which looked disgusting, thicker than choc syrup), and after two cuts, it looks like choc syrup again! Can anybody explain what makes oil go from "honey" to "chocolate" and how I can slow this down? Thanks.

Hello, I am part of an NGO that is looking for details of some of the inexpensive construction materials to build a water tank(sump) into the ground that can hold 1000 liters. I found that locally available mud mixed with cowdung and than lime plasted can work. Will this method work? I also heard about digging a hole and covering with plastic layer. Are there any alternatives? Our budget is US$7:00 per sump in south India. Labor is free.

My daughter sprayed pump (non-aerosol) OFF! bug spray on my dining room table. Although I wiped it off within a minute or two, and immediately tried to clean off the remnants with Old English cleaner, it left marks in the finish. I don't know whether it ate the finish away or if the marks are just topical (i.e., on top of the finish). Any ideas on what I can do to restore the finish without completely stripping the tabletop and refinishing it?
Thanks!
