Is it worth the extra cash to get an over under or semi auto shotgun for home protection . . or is the standard pump shotgun better for the price?

What really is bad (in addition to the 95 degree weather) is that my house is made of metal/aluminum. The sun shines fiercly on my house everyday!I try to use window ACs but they just keep running all day long. What's even stranger... at night, when the outside temp is 80, my indoor temperature is like 90 at 12:00, even with the windows open!!! Is there a better way to cool down my house without running high energy bills?

Our home will be build next month and I'm looking for a company or someone who installs Glass Railing for our home. It is so hard to find. I found one that will do for $4800 for 21'. Is there anything cheaper than this? Our home is very small, 400 sq ft on 1st floor and 300 sq ft on 2nd floor so I'm trying to squeez out every possible space as possible. If anyone knows someone or if you can refer me to someone, please let me know. Thank you.

My mother in law's above ground 16,000 gallon pool has not been 100% clear this season and at one point was super green...Last year she replaced the earth filter that she had since she bought the pool (15 years ago) with a sand filter...my husband installed it and it worked fine...this year no such luck...we've tried every chemical and vacuumed and scrubbed the sides and bottom and even got the pool place to (finally) come out and exchange the filter for free...and their people set up the new one...it's been 4 days and there's no change...what the heck could be the problem? Has this ever happened to anyone else? If someone can come up with a solution that we haven't tried I'll really be suprised...
