I have an old blue 'ideal' mason jar with a hinged lid patented in 1908. it has the number 6 on the bottom. through some research I have found info (ebay) on other numbered blue 'ideal' jars but nothing on #6. Anyone have any info?

Okay, I make a KILLER homemade spaghetti sauce (marinara) and would love to be able to make one huge batch and keep the it in the fridge for later use.

I've never "canned" anything before and would love to know what the best way to go about doing this would be.

units are mismatched tonage wise; 3.5 out/ 3 in

I am currently working with a real estate agent in looking for my first home. My budget is tight because I'm only 19 years old but I am looking for a townhome in my area.

I am actually coming up with a lot of choices, and it's so hard to filter through them all without getting too excited and wanting to jump at certain oppurtunities.

When you purchased your first home, did you just "know" that was the one you wanted to buy? How did you know? Did it just stick out in your mind?

I know this has been answered before, but there's mixed info about whether Space Bags (the kind you vacuum out all the air) actually work. Some people say they don't work at all (leak immediately, leak within 24 hours, etc.), and others say they work fine.

Just a quick poll before I spend the $$$ to buy the 5 or so space bags that I need.

Also, trying to find if people have better luck buying them from retail (Walmart, Target, etc) or online (spacebag.com) in terms of whether they leak or not.

I'm fitting the floor in my sons bedroom, the guy in the DIY store talked me through it and sold me what I needed. When I got home and read the fitting kit, it says the boards need to be glued together, but the guy said it didn't. Now I'm confused! Please help.

The leaves are turning purple and they're wilting. We've tried fungicides and pesticides, but it doesn't seem to work. It's not every plant, either---kind of scattered. Any ideas?
