I'm going to college and I wanted to bring certain sheets but I'm not sure if they will fit. For anybody that has lived in college dorms with extra long twin mattresses and tried to use regular sheets, what's your experience?

My family bought a new home and all the walls are tape and texture and were painted with flat paint. I have never owned a home before and the thought of repainting a whole house is overwhelming. I need to paint the Kitchen, living room, dining room, my two son's rooms, their bathroom, master bedroom, and bathroom.Where do I start with such a huge task?

The added challenge is that the existing light is not centered in the room. I would have to cut drywall in order to extend and/or move the electrical source. Also, after perusing a DIY book, it said something about possibly needed to install a fan brace against the frame of the house to stabilize it so it doesn't wobble or come loose. Is this too much to deal with if time is a factor, and if this is my first time installing a fan?

Of late, I find my plants in one plot withering away. These are chilli and capsicum plants. On digging the soil around the roots of the plants, I found a number of slugs sticking to the stem and roots of the plants. I would like to know if slugs are responsible for the withering of the healthy plants. And if so, what is the remedy to rid the soil of these slugs.

I know this has to do with the way I've put the cord stoppers back on the bottom, after pulling out extra slats. I just can't figure out what the deal is. There's gotta be some technique to make the bottom slat (the one above the heavier slat used for its weight) uniform with the rest. All the blinds I've installed have done this, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)
