ok i know that i can start when im 14 or even 15. but is there any way to speed up getting it? im afraid that i might start at school . its happened to a few girls at my school and it's really embarassing. ive had everything else happen to me in puberty height change hair, everything. except this. help please!

Ok so i have had my period for a couple yrs but i know want to use tampons cuz all my friends use them and say they can't even feel them, so i tryed askin my mom but she said she dont know cuz she never uses them, well i was brave lol and tryed stickin it in there but i'm not sure like where to put it in, i kno its supposed to go in a whole, but idk. also i have tried several times tonite in several positions but it wont go in all the way, am i supposed to push it in like hard or something?? it doesnt really hurt trying to put it in i just dont know how to.....please help me! i have a mission of putting a tampon in.... tonite!!!

I visited my dr. and got started on BC and b/c I've never been intimate the dr. asked for me to come back in Jan for the pap smear and I'll be 21 in March and waiting on my fiance to get here from Greece. So my Mom told me it will hurt if I don't use some kind of artificial stimulation or my fiance one if he's here, not that my Mom is the type to encourage sex be4 marriage but she says if i don't do something the dr. will and have no mercy. What would ya'll do? I'd rather dig the ditch in my own way then let the dr. do it, if u get me. But to me doing a vibrator or my fiance isn't right either way. Please help Btw as if u couldn't tell i know some ppl wouldn't think this is a hard decision but i'm the type of girl that would rather wait on sex till I'm married so it's more sacred and meaning not to sound corny or anything. I was on fenugreek when I was 15 because someone told me that it can make your breasts grow bigger. Its a stupid reason but I was young. Anyways, I always struggled with my weight. I am always about 90 pounds and can't gain weight no matter how hard I try. I used to drink boost shakes 3 times a day and even that didn't help.
So I remember when I was on the pills, I had a bigger appetite and my weight went up to 107 pounds. I was really happy and felt good about my body for the first time. Do you think its the pills that made me gain weight? I had stopped taking them after about 5 months for some reason that I can't remember.../
So could it have been the pills?

Most of my research/medical advice is about making sure it's not cancer, etc.... but it's not cancer, I know that, I've known that for 10 years now. I'm 46 and it's mostly around my period, but all month long I have to be careful not to hug anyone very close, or let my cat cuddle with me. :(

Has anyone dealt with this?

Breast specialists I've seen say the next step is to try those medications that may have irreversible side effects, like lowering of the voice, hair on the chest and face etc. One of them is called danazol I think.

Those drugs scare me and I refuse to go on them! This may not be life-threatening but it's hurting me and is very much affecting the quality of my life.

Evening Primrose oil and Vitamin E help - but not enough. Several types of BC pills were disastrous.

....i was on the depo injection and then the mini pill that you take continuously without a break because i am allergic to the combined pill. Was it bad for my body not to have a period?
Will i loose weight now I've come off it?

I just started jolivette a little over a month ago, and i have not had my period yet, im like almost 3 weeks late. is this normal? i know my doctor said i wont know when im gonna start but i didnt really ask questions about it. its not a normal birth control it only has progestren but no estrogen. i dont feel like im pregnant but then again i might not know. has anybody been on this b/c? can someone give me some advice??

Right before or during my period, sometimes my face gets so hot and red that you can cook an egg on it
(not literally but you get the point)
I just a a tremendous 'hot flash" or whatever it was a few minutes ago...
I literally had to stick my face in a bucket of cold ice water to cool myself down..
Is this anything I should be worried about?

a urine test showed clear but a swab showed signs of bacterial vaginosis? My Dr said no treatment would be required as it is something that will go on it's own, he although have me cannestan pessaries to calm the irritation...Snce then it's worsened and i'm in agony... Has anyone any extra info of this???

Ok well I got my period on Sept. 24- Sept. 30.
Sept. 30 was a Sunday so I started taking birth control. I messed up that week because I kept forgetting to take the pill at the time I was supposed to so I stopped taking it on Oct. 6.
On Oct. 9 I got my period again. It ended on Oct. 13-14.
Now its Nov. 25 n I haven't gotten my period. I don't know if it's because I got it twice in a month. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I've been cramping but I don't get my period. I just discharge. Can someone tell me why please!!!

Which birth control method is the best? I have been on the Patch for about 2 months and stopped after i broke up with my ex. My boyfriend wants me to get the shot but i am worried because my friend was on it, and she gained a lot of weight and bone issues. He doesn't trust the pill, because a couple of his friends have gotten pregnant while on the pill. I am thinking about going back on the patch but afraid of getting blood clot. I really want to get the SHOT but it seems like its nothing but trouble. Any advices or warnings???

I'm on my second month for taking birth control and I had breakthrough bleeding a couple weeks ago. Today is the first day I should get my period but I didn't get it. Hi. I just recently found out that I have endometriosis. My doctor is starting me on the Depo-Provera shot, on Monday. Does anyone have some info from personal experiances with this shot? Any advice? I've heard good things about this, and would like to know what you think. Thanks.

I called in for my next month of birth control pills on friday and am not gonna get them until tomorrow. Yesterday was my last pill...so I don't have one to take for tonight. When do I take Sunday's pill...tomorrow as soon as I pick them up? Will missing this tonight mess everything up?

If someone had their first period for about 20 days (No spotting), should they ask the doctor about taking birth control, or just wait and see how long their next period is? And if so, how long would they take birth control: would it be forever? Thanks!!!
