I'm on my second month for taking birth control and I had breakthrough bleeding a couple weeks ago. Today is the first day I should get my period but I didn't get it. Also, I haven't taken it yet since I take it at 5PM. So, would I get it AFTER i take it? or is there still something wrong that I didn't get it today.

I've been on the pill for almost two years and I don't get my period until the fourth or fifth "spacer" pill.

Don't worry about it. :)

IT will take a few months to get your body regulated with the pills.

I never got mine on Sunday. Always on Wednesday between 1 and 2 PM(yeah, I got that freaking regular). Just because you are on the dead pills doesn't mean you will start you period that day, it is just where you are at in the hormone cycle. Give it a few days. My first few months I actually got into the first week of the next pack before I got mine. It takes time for it to regulate- you have nothing to worry about!

i've been on the pill for about 2 yrs and the first few months will be a bit irregular but once ur body adjusts it should be more predictable. (btw, i start the "spacer pills" on a sunday but i dont get my period till the wednesday after so u could be like me in that way)
