missed period while on jolivette bc?

Question

I just started jolivette a little over a month ago, and i have not had my period yet, im like almost 3 weeks late. is this normal? i know my doctor said i wont know when im gonna start but i didnt really ask questions about it. its not a normal birth control it only has progestren but no estrogen. i dont feel like im pregnant but then again i might not know. has anybody been on this b/c? can someone give me some advice??

Yes, it can be normal to miss one period when starting out on the pill even for progesterone only pills. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
