Ok so i have had my period for a couple yrs but i know want to use tampons cuz all my friends use them and say they can't even feel them, so i tryed askin my mom but she said she dont know cuz she never uses them, well i was brave lol and tryed stickin it in there but i'm not sure like where to put it in, i kno its supposed to go in a whole, but idk. also i have tried several times tonite in several positions but it wont go in all the way, am i supposed to push it in like hard or something?? it doesnt really hurt trying to put it in i just dont know how to.....please help me! i have a mission of putting a tampon in.... tonite!!!

wow ! im 13 & i hate tampons i only use them wen i am on my period & im going swimming but if u think u need 2 wear them ...i guess just relax & tampax(which is the type i use) comes with instructions & shows u how to do everything the right way i hope i could help a little...(my friend's mom said that putting a lil lubricant on tha tip of tha tampon can help it slide in better)

I remember my first experience with tampons. OK there are 3 holes you can stick this in and we know for sure which ones it is not. Yes you may have to push a little harder to get it up far enough just make sure you can still see the string for when you remove it.
The scary part for me my first time was removing it because it will swell on the inside of you and you may have to give it a tug to get it out not a biggie.
The next thing to remember is that you MUST change them often you can get toxic shock from not changing those things regularly.
I personally found that tampons made me more prone to get infections ewwww once I stopped using them or just for swimming no more infections. Some girls wear them no problem others have issues like me Good luck

Hi there....Since its your first time, try using the Playtex plastic applicator, it will be easier than carborad, until you get used to it.
Best way is to sit on the toilet, insert and push gently towards the back until your finger tips touch the opening of the vagina.....then just push the push pin until the tampon is pushed into your vagina wall and presto...remove the plastic tube. you should not feel a thing if inserted right.
Practice until you get it right...might take a few tries....don't feel bad, we all went through it! Good luck!

i know itskind of gross but youv got folds ofskin over your vaginajustpushthe skin away a little and you should see your vagina and presto look at the instructions that came with the tampon
