I know it probably does because they're mostly fat.
Would you say it is normal if i'm very slim to have almost no boobs? I'm not a kid, I'm 18 but started my period quite late (15 and a half) so is this normal?
What good foods can help me put on weight, I'm 46kg and 5"5
yes i know i'm underweight (i don't look ill)
Do I still have a chance of 'growing'?

Thanks for your help

I'm 27 years old and I cannot imagine a day I'll be comfortable in my own skin. I'm sick of feeling this way. I have taken therapy in the past and I have dieted and exercised, etc., etc. Nothing helps me!!!!!! Nothing! I'm so incredibly self conscious about my body. My boyfriend is sick of me putting myself down and so is everyone else. But I can't help it. I really wish I loved myself more. Everyone tells me I'm crazy for calling myself fat, but I feel like they say that just to make me feel better. I don't know what to do. I have been told by everyone that it's all in my head and that I am "beautiful" but I feel like it's 100% a crock of you know what!!!!

I am currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. While in my OBGYN's office I was reading up on the new Essure as opposed to tubal ligation as a permanent birth control. Are you using this method or know anyone who has? What was their experience?

thank you :-)

I think i have a short luteal phase or at least 11 days. I called my dr. yesterday and she said i could take progesterone and see how it goes. Has or is anyone using this and has it helped. My doc. also said i would have to test 10 days after taking it because you don't get your AF on your own? That makes me nervous i don't want to screw my body up any more than it is. Should i just let nature work or try this out?????

I should be ovualting in the next 24-36 hours.

Thanks for your answers.

I'm on the pill and use condoms.

My period is due today and I spotted the tiniest amount of brown discharge then ten minutes later I got my period. This is normal, right? The brown discharge doesn't mean I'm pregnant if I get red blood afterwards right?

Thanks guys!!

I want to get the Gardasil vaccine (my insurance finally covers it) but I won't be able to get the shots at the correct times. I can get the first one now, and the next two months later, but I will be abroad six months from now, and won't be returning until about 9 months from now.

Will the vaccine be equally effective if I put off the last dose that long?

If you answer, please tell me why you think you're right (eg, my doctor told me that, or I am a doctor, or I created the vaccine, or I work with vaccines, or here's my source)

How does your doctor diagnose you with having scar tissue or adhesions on or around your ovaries? What causes this scar tissue/adhesions? Could ruptured ovarian cysts cause scar tissue/adhesions? And if scar tissue/adhesions are found during surgery (laparoscopy) what is done to remove or to get rid of this scar tissue/adhesions?

Also, does scar tissue or adhesions show up on ultrasound, cat scan, MRI or only if you have surgery?

what could be possible symtoms of having scar tissue/adhesions on your ovaries or abdomen?

I took depo a year ago and need to know if it had the synthetic form of estrogen. I'm starting a low carb diet for my PCOS and need to make sure it didn't have estrogen because estrogen interferes with weight loss.

The condom broke but ejaculation happened outside her (out of habit, even though using a condom, the guy pulls out just before ejaculation since he doesn't want to take the risk of a condom breaking and semen getting inside). Just to eliminate the minor possibility that some semen may have gone in before the guy was able to pull out, the girl takes Postinor (an emergency contraceptive) within 24 hours. She has a period after a week (this is not her regular period, her regular period started a week before that intercourse and was already finished a couple of days before the time of intercourse).
