I have found a lump in my right armpit, it is quite small, but can feel it if i run my figer over it. It seems to be quite close to my skin, and it doesnt hurt, has anyone any idea what it could be, and what i should do? Has only been their 2 days. I am 19 Thanks xx

More specifically, my daughter is approaching pre-teen age and has had some complaints "down there". The way she explains it, I think she may have a mild yeast infection. I am just wondering, should I take her to her pediatrician (who is male), should I just keep her using an over-the-counter external cream, or should I take her to see a GYN ( of course I would find a female one for her)

well, yesterday night i saw like 4 blood spots on my underwear......I dont know for sure if this is my period or not though! im sorry im probably sounding stupid but my mom lives 5 hours away and we are both mad at eachother so i dont want to call her. I just turned 13 and i dot want to wear pads/tamps. if i dont even have it yet, i read soemthing bout brown stuff on your underwear, there was none on mine!?

I'm 14 and 5'1, and I wanna be tallerrr. :( My mom was 5'0 and my dad is 5'8, so I don't think it's gonna happen. *sigh* I HATE being short...:( I wish I was 5'8, or AT LEAST 5'5. Heck, it'd be a miracle if I reached 5'3! :( How much taller do you think I'm gonna grow? ;_;

im 13 and my period started about 6 months ago and i missed my period last month i dont know why, i havent gotten mine for this month...and when i lay on my back and push down just under my ribbs i can feel a thumping! what the hell is it im freakin out!!!!! im not on the pill and im a virgin so i cant be pregnant but im still scared i am becoz of that thumping i can feel!!! can someone please explain to me what it is, im so scared!!!

ok so this may sound grosse to some of you, but when i insert a tampon and have to pass wind, i get a rather nasty pain in my anal region. it only feels better when i remove the tampon. is something wrong with me??

Hi everyone,

I have recently been thinking about going on the pill, as me and my bf have been together 6 years and would like to try something new other than condoms. I have an appointment with the nurse on Thursday but my main worry is that by using the pill I will gain weight. I have a few extra unwanted pounds at the moment but have managed to shed a few pounds by healthy eating and going down the gym 3 to 4 times a week but I’m worried that the pill will put all the weight back on and more? I can’t handle being any bigger and I am prone to putting on weight easily but I understand that there are also a lot of advantages to taking the pill. If anyone could give me some sensible advice it would be much appreciated.

I have IBS and am still trying to work out what i can and cant eat.

The fact that it's fibre sounds like it could help but do you think it will make my stomach bad at the same time. I get horrible cramps when I eat certain things and am terrified to try some things again because it hurts sooo much!

I have been to my doctors and am due to go again when i can get and appointment (they really are useless!) and they have only given me Fybogel for now which doesnt help so I want to try to increase my dietary fibre more to reduce the bloating I get and the uncomfortable feeling when i eat.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Also milk can affect my stomach but it's mainly full fat and semi-skimmed so I'm going to drink skimmed milk so it should be fine.

Im a lil bit embaressed about asking this, so please serious answers only!

Just a few days ago, saturday to be exact, I noticed I had red skin under my breasts where the underwire of a bra would sit. Its kinda of itcy but isnt itchy all the time, and the skin seems to be flakeing off, kinda like sun burn. It looks like realy dry skin.

Ive been reading up on it alot to try and find out exactly what it might be. Ive herd it a yeast infection, an irratation or a fungus. I realy dont want to visit the docter if I can just buy some over the counter lotions or powders and cure it myself.

But before I go out and buy a bunch of diffrent things. Is there anyway to tell exactly what it is. And if so what exactly should I get for it?

I just moved away to college while, subsequently, ending a 150 mile long distance relationship because I'm now attending school with my boyfriend. I am on the Yaz birth control pill and was scheduled to have my period two days after I got here. Because he and I hadn't seen each other in forever, I wanted my time with him, so I finished my pack of pills, skipped the placebos, and went straight into the next pack. The very next day, I started my period (while taking active pills) and I have been bleeding ever since that day (for going on ten days). I've stopped cramping and it's more annoying than anything. He's large in size, could it be the sex that causes it (i. e. extreme deepness much more than I am used to), or do you think it's more of a female thing and because of these pills? Personally, I think karma is coming back to get me, but I would like to know, has anyone else gone through this? What else should I do? How much longer should I wait?

First let me state, I DO NOT have an STD!
I went to the OBgyn last week (1st week Sept) for about the 5th time after complaining of severe cramping since February. In Oct of 2006 I had the Mirena IUD inserted for birth control and in May of 2007, I asked the OBgyn to remove it because of my cramping. He wasnt sure that was the source of my cramping (although he didnt look into it) and tried to give me painkillers first. Finally he removed it, because I told him that we were wanting to conceive. A month later I did conceive. Then I miscarried at 5 weeks. The doc gave me a clean bill of health but couldnt explain why I miscarried. My cramps since got worse and worse and by the end of August I was in extreme pain. It follows a pattern. A few days before I ovulate, it starts and then grows in intensity until my period starts when its intense, doubling over pain which makes me cry. My uterus throbs. It ebbs off then. When I last went to the OB, the nurse questioned me before the appt began

My doctor told me to start taking my birth control pills on Sunday but I haven't started my period yet. All the papers she gave me says to start it the first Sunday of your period. Who should I listen to? And if I've already started the pack because I thought I should listen to my doctor, should I continue or just wait for my period? (It's my first time taking birth control).
