Im a lil bit embaressed about asking this, so please serious answers only!

Just a few days ago, saturday to be exact, I noticed I had red skin under my breasts where the underwire of a bra would sit. Its kinda of itcy but isnt itchy all the time, and the skin seems to be flakeing off, kinda like sun burn. It looks like realy dry skin.

Ive been reading up on it alot to try and find out exactly what it might be. Ive herd it a yeast infection, an irratation or a fungus. I realy dont want to visit the docter if I can just buy some over the counter lotions or powders and cure it myself.

But before I go out and buy a bunch of diffrent things. Is there anyway to tell exactly what it is. And if so what exactly should I get for it?

It sounds like it is a yeast infection. I would call your local pharmacist on the phone (you can do so anonymously if you are embarrassed) and ask what you do to treat it. He will probably suggest using the same type of cream that you use to treat vaginal yeast infections. The yeast infection comes from having your breasts get moist (persperation) in the fold under your breasts; bacteria forms and you get yeast. It can be very uncomfortable.

A number of answers for you but see what you think.
1. Sweat build up under your breasts can cause irritation
to the skin. The salt from perspiration has a high acidity
level. Wash and use a normal body cream
2. Washing powder - change it.
3. Tight bra.
4. Change of season can affect skin as well.
Good luck my friend

First, I think you should stop wearing bras that irritate you. It could actually be caused by your bra, especially if you're not wearing the right size or if the weather is hot where you are this can cause a heat rash of sorts.

If not wearing the bra helps, then go bra shopping! You'll need to either get a different size or a different style of bra.

If it doesn't help, see a doctor. Doctors have seen lots of things and this isn't too uncommon and nothing to be embarassed about. Our bodies do 'gross' things, but it's natural!

Sounds like either contact dermatitis (could have been from a new detergent, soap or shampoo?) that has rubbed in this area or potentialyl, exzema. Either way, a 1% hydrocortizone cream should clear it up in a couple of days

it could be due to friction
if you don't want to see a dr try first keeping the area dry and moisturizing it with cocoa butter or a fragrance free moisturizer.
nothing to be ashamed of, many women have this problems even teenagers.
if it gets worse or doesn't improve you can see a dr.
underwire bras cause more friction if they don't fit properly , so try changing the bra or taking it off when resting/ sleeping.

It could be a simple reaction to your washing powder?? Or your underwiring too tight?? I'd treat it with simple moisturising lotion for a few days - see if that improves it. And if you have changed your washing powder, or fabric softener that could be the cause.

it is simply dry skin, girlie.
apply deep conditioning lotion or cocoa butter to the affected area 2-3 times a day generously, and the problem will clear up.

i've had the EXACT same problem

you cant get a yeast infection under you breasts, it could be that your bra was on too tight or its a bad brand. put some lotion where your skin is flaky.
