hi
i'm 13 and think i've just started my period. i never had the foamy stuff but i read loadz about it. some of the others said dont woory about it your too young i was so fed up of people saying that to me, just cus we r young doesn't mean we don't think about things like that. for a bout 2 years i was constantly paranoid about wen i was going to start , worried about starting and having no protection, worried about how i was going to tell my mum and how she'd react. i still haven't told her!try research it all the sites will say different but you will get the general i dea. i sugest beinggirl.com! it helped me a lot. if it makes you feel better just carry a pad around with just in case, i did it made me feel safer if you know what i mean. hope i helped sweetie!! x x x x

Ok, being that your only 11, that is definitely a very good chance that's what that means. When you are about to start for the first time, you will do what is called "discharging". This is perfectly normal and something that SHOULD happen. Its your body cleaning it self and getting ready for the actual period to start. If what comes out of you-know-where has any different color(greenish or yellowish) then you might want to let your doctor know. But if its like a darker color(brownish or redish) then you should wait it out and see what happens. But the "discharge" is very OK.

MOST girls have discharge (The white, foamy, sticky stuff) for at least a year before they get their periods, so it will probably still be awhile before you get it.

Go to your Doctor, nothing should ever be foamy. Sounds like an infection.
Good luck

This can be a sign of a yeast infection - especially if you have any itching down there.
Getting your period would have color to it.
Honey, don't worry about getting your period - it will happen when it should and don't wish it to come too soon. I first got mine when I was 11 but I know girls who started it younger and older. Your body knows what's right for it.

i would talk to your mom and have her make you a doctors appointment. it sounds live you could have a yeast infection which is no big deal. they will just give you cream or pills. And its about time your doctor discusses you period and what to expect with you. but really, if you can talk to your mother if not an aunt or school counselor could probably help. Good Luck and God Bless.
