My girlfriend just recently got placed on birth control in late july. We had sex in early august, and i used a condom, but the last 3 weeks, she has been experiencing some symptoms of "morning sickness". She said that she had her period, but it was a lighter period. I just was wondering how light it was, because a week before she had her period she had said that she had some light spotting.
Right now, i am just a little worried about her and am hoping that she isn't pregnant, but i just find it a little weird that she has the symptoms of being pregnant.

I feel terribly sick most mornnings and normally have to visit the loo alot too. Doc says I'm fine but I don't feel it. Anyone else got this problem and found an answer, please let me know.

i think i have a yeast infection, bt im not 100% sure and i would prefer not to go to the drs (i will if i need to thou!!!!)

i have vaginal discharge that, now that ive read that yeast has cottage cheese like discharge, thats how i would describe what i have. i had a large quantity of it when i woke up this morning, and had shower (due to gravity no doubt)
however, i have NO itchyness and NO swelling or redness. ther is no odour (ive read that there is no odour to yeast anyway)
im due my period in one week as well
i have been under alot of stress recently
i have been having protected sex too
pls could u answer my following questions:
1) is yeast considered as an std?
2)and would you say stress could be a main factor to getting yeast?
3)what are the treatments
4)do i HAVE to see a doctor, as i know you can buy over the counter medication, but is that safe to use in case i dont have yeast?
5)if i went to the dr, would they be able 2 tell me straight away i have yeast,

I have PCOS and have been suffering with pain for about a week now. The pain is severe period pain type cramping but whats really really hurting me is the sharp pains shooting through my ovaries and radiating into my uterus, these are getting worse everyday.

I have taken codiene and its not even touching the pain. Its waking me and keeping me up at night and has me in tears - I feel sick and dizzy too. I dont know what to do as this pain is more severe than normal and completely unbearable - it may also be worth noting that I am not on my AF yet either.

Do you think I should go to A & E? I cannot take NSAID's as I am prone to stomach ulcers - these were the the only meds that even touched the pain.

I'm 3 days away from my 7 placebo pills, and I know I'm supposed to have my period while I'm on those.

I was wondering if the period usually starts the first day of the placebo pills, or later? And does it last all 7 days? That seems like a long time...

If you have experience with birth control pills...?
How long did you wait until you stopped using a backup method, the first time you went on the pill?

What body type are you? (overweight, average, or thin/underweight).

I'm asking because so many people have been saying that i should have waited 1 month before relying on birth control pills. But i waited 1 week, like the instructions said.
The body type might determine how long it took for the pill to regulate in your system .

Ok, so im supposed to have my period around this time (well last week actually) but I never got it. The last time I got it was in the first week of august!! Is this normal? Have periods 2 weeks apart every second cycle - for past 8 months now.
Initial investigations have negated abnormal growths, fibroids, pregnancy etc, and hormone levels do not indicate I'm peri menopausal.
HELP !! Any information from other women who have experienced the same (and are peri menopausal or menopausal) would be great help!
I'm just about beside myself, and the doctor must be thinking I'm making it all up !

I'm 16 and have had have strange pains in the area of my left ovary for some time now. The pain comes and goes. I didn't have my period this month but occasionally there is dark brown blood sometimes black it appears soon after i've felt a LOT of pain. Many days i am very low on energy.
i live under a lot, a lot of stress. and i diet and exercise. any ideas to what may be contributing to the pain? what could be wrong? its been months of this on and off. i can't just go see a doctor because now i'm living in central america.

I am 7 years married and we have 5 children. My husband has been my one and only.
I am somewhat frustrated with this issue and want so badly to experience what I am missing out on.
I believe I am able to reach a clitorical (sp?) orgasm but not vaginal. Just these past months have I been able to have the clitorical orgasm by my husband. I have tried 'feeling' myself and well I just don't get it. Is there not someone that can explain exactly what an orgasm is? I've read books, talked with my doctor, read the other answers to similar questions on this site, and I have even talked with my MOM! I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone.
My husband is very good and loving... he is patient... umm all the things he should be. He is not upset with me or voicing his wishes for me to reach orgasm. Very loving. I do not have a bad past that would prevent me from wanting to go here...
I am just a normal woman that wants an orgasm!
Any true help would be appreciated.

I was wanting to try some type of vitamins or something natural to help with depression instead of the meds from the doc because they have made me gain at least 65 pounds and i am having a hard time losing the weight while i am taking those pills still.

i am now 17 weeks pregnant, ever since i was about 13 weeks my stomache has been huge to the point i looked like i was about 6 months pregnant, the last few days it has shrunk!
Now i only have this little bump but i dont have a waiste line. I would have thought if it was fluid retention that one day i would feel bloated and then the next i felt normal but for the past 4 weeks i have been huge the hole time there was none of that, is this just some thing that happens? anyone who has experienced this please answer im just really confused! I recently got put on a new birth control.. YAZ. I messed up and started taking it a month before i was supposed to.. i have not got my period when i usually do.. the beginning of the month (3rd week of pills) now i just have a watery brown discharge.. is this normal? is my period about to come? im sorda freaked out by the whole thing.. i just started the white pill today but still no period.. i am 41 years old and still single. an aunt died of breast cancer years ago. one of her sisters is under medication of the same symptoms but is okey. what are the symptoms that you first recognize? sometimes, i feel like shooting pain and muscle pain. later on i wont feel these pains again.
