My girlfriend just recently got placed on birth control in late july. We had sex in early august, and i used a condom, but the last 3 weeks, she has been experiencing some symptoms of "morning sickness". She said that she had her period, but it was a lighter period. I just was wondering how light it was, because a week before she had her period she had said that she had some light spotting.
Right now, i am just a little worried about her and am hoping that she isn't pregnant, but i just find it a little weird that she has the symptoms of being pregnant.

It can make the periods light enough where it's almost just like spotting. As for the morning sickness feeling it could have to do with the time of day that she's taking the medicine. If she's taking it in the morning, taking it at night might help ease the problem.

I would also recommend that she get in touch with her doctor for additional information to see what they say.

each female is different, the feeling of "morning sickness" could either be she's pregnant or the medication does'nt agree with her, suggest she go back to the doctor as soon as she can,i could say that it's too soon to be experiencing morning sickness if she is pregnant, but once again, every female is different,so get her to the doctor to see what's going on. good luck.
