Has anyone else experienced this. Should I be worried? They only happen in the morning especially when I get up from bending down and during the night.

I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation to see what they think is going on. Sometimes heart palpitations can be a sign of a problem with the thyroid.

Hi you should go to your doctor who will send you for a ECG ,and do some blood tests , palpitations can be caused by many things from a heart defect, thyroid condition, to stress , over use of caffine its important that you get checked out , while you are waiting for a appointment try to cut down on the amount of coffee or coke you drink, and take it easy , the best of luck x

Yes you need to see a doctor, but don't panic. If your heart isn't misbehaving when you are otherwise exerting yourself, it's unlikely to be anything serious.

I get skipped beats and palpitations now and then just before my period. It's not that uncommon.
