I'm 3 days away from my 7 placebo pills, and I know I'm supposed to have my period while I'm on those.

I was wondering if the period usually starts the first day of the placebo pills, or later? And does it last all 7 days? That seems like a long time...

Depending on the brand being used the period can start as soon as the first placebo pill is taken or a few days in to the placebo pills. Yes, it will last 7 days which is normal.

I always told the doctor how annoying it was being 3 days early every month, until I realised that your body works on a 28 day cycle not 31, so all those years I thought I was early, I was normal, depending on your age, most peoples periods last 3-5 days, heavy at first then lightening afterwards, the placebos are only sugar pills and you can always bypass your period by continuing to take the normal pills and passing over the sugar pills, like if you're getting married or going to the beach etc., but don't do it too often its not good for your body.
I hope that helps you, if not, contact me through answers and I'll try to help you the best I can,
Goodluck to you!!!
