I recently got put on a new birth control.. YAZ. I messed up and started taking it a month before i was supposed to.. i have not got my period when i usually do.. the beginning of the month (3rd week of pills) now i just have a watery brown discharge.. is this normal? is my period about to come? im sorda freaked out by the whole thing.. i just started the white pill today but still no period.. JUST BROWN SPOTTING! whats wrong with me?

It sounds like your period is about to start. Changing birth control can cause your body to react differently than normal. Do not be alarmed but if things don't get back to normal in after three months of being on the new pill you should contact your doctor.

If you didnt have sex you need to relax. Everyone has side effects from the pill. If you did have sex did you use another method of protection. How long had you been taking them before that time. You need to keep taking them in the way you were told and not worry if there is no way you could be pregnant. Some dont have a period or a very lite one with the pill. If you had sex too soon without a backup you may want to take a pregnancy test. Too often girls think as soon as they take a couple pills its safe to have sex and that is not true.
