When is the right age/time to see a gynecologist? I'm turning 15 and haven't had sex, and was wondering when i should start seeing one. Is it true that they stick a metal thing up there? What happens when you see one? I'm kinda embarrassed to ask anyone else, but when would it be a good time for me to get one?

My sister just recently asked me to be the Matron of Honor at her wedding and I don't want to be the "fat bridesmaid". The other two girls she is having stand for her are quite a bit slimmer than I am.
DH and I are also considering starting to try having kids in the spring.
The cherry on top though is I am starting a new job soon just a few doors down from a Curves location.


Overall, I think its a good time for me to start thinking more about my weight and getting in shape. I've got quite a bit of muscle already so weight training isn't a priority. Losing fat though is. Anyone who has used Curves, can you please tell me a bit of your experiences including pros and cons.

I'm 21 years old and just had sex for the first time about a month ago. We used a Trojan Ultra Ribbed Lubricated condom. It hurt quite a bit and I was just finishing my period. I had sex again (with a different guy) this past weekend, and it hurt so much that we couldn't finish. We used NYC condoms. We had a lot of foreplay beforehand, and we used lube, but it still hurt. It even hurt when he used his finger to go in deep. We tried again two nights ago, but it was the same story. I have pain when urinating immediately after sex and also sometimes later in the day or the following day.

As a sidenote, I just recently bought the Rabbit vibrator. I can't insert it beyond just the tip and it starts to hurt when I try.

Could I have some kind of infection?

for the past month i have been going to the gym 3 times a week. for about an hour in half. I get on the elliptical ( an exercise machine for those who don't know) for about 40 min. than i do other exercise mostly for legs. My period is late i want to know does this cause it?

We broke up last week from a long term relationship. He was confused he said he wanted to be with me but were young and he hasnt done anything in life. Like experienced the world. And hes been pushing me and his best friend away. His best friend said i need to call him the sooner the better. And i did but he want there he was at a soccer game. I dont know what his deal is. He says he loves me and hes scared of commitment. I left a message on his phone a nice one letting him know i just want to talk to him. He told me to call when i was ready and he still wants to be close and hang out. So why is he still being distant from me and his bestfriend? hes never been like this. should i call him again if i dont hear from him in a few days or a week or should i let him come to me? im just afraid that he wont come to me since hes pushing me away for no apparent reason.... ok I went on the pill when i was 17-18 ish . went off the pill... had a baby, decided to go on the Shot (depo) I gained 35 lbs on the shot had mood swings, was depressed,, All the side affects.... I had.... So i tried the Nuva Ring,,, OH my gosh,,, what a disaster.. it fell out during intercourse, I had a hard time reinsurting it. Every month... and breast tenderness and I got light headed all the time.. so after 3 months I stopped... Now I'm not on anything and was wondering is there any form of good Birth control.... Besides Abstanence.. (would never work, I'm an Army wife) HELP!!!!

I have had one Depo Provera injection and got my period for 5 months. It finally stopped a few weeks ago, and I am still waiting for my regular period I to return. Has anyone else had problems with the injection??

This is for the wives with low libido out there.

Can you describe what it feels like to have your husband come on to you when you are not now and will probably not get aroused by his attentions no matter what happens?

I can get aroused by imagining she is thinking about doing "it" so I am really having a hard time (no pun intended) understanding what it must feel like to put up with what seems like an overly horny husband.

I'm sure her low libido is caused by meds, frustrating husband and kids. I know when she has had the kids all day, the last thing she wants is something else touching her.

I'm trying to put myself in her frame of mind.

well heres my story. Im 16 and been having irregular periods since i was 12. The first couple of times i didn't take much notice about my period since it takes a while to adjust. But as i was gettin older my periods were be coming somewhat irregular. It was first month(period),second month(no period) and so on. But then it was like 6 months and no period. My mom got worried so we went to my doctor and he said it was because Im skinny and was normal. But now im 16 and last April i got it two times. In the beginning of the month and last. and then i didn't get it till June and then August. Since then I havent had it. My mom took me to the doctor again and he said it was pretty much normal, i was still maturing and to give it some time. But one of the assistant doctors recommended we go to a gynicologist (sorry if my spelling is incorrect). She said the problem may be my ovaries. And i heard about premature ovarian failure and i was wondering what it is?

Please don't read further if you're easily grossed out. I have an ingrown pubic hair and it hurts really bad. Yesterday I got of the shower and this gross brown stuff was coming out of it. I've been putting antibiotic cream on it three times a day, but it still hurts really bad. I've had it for three days. Any suggestions for relieving the pain and healing it faster? Thanks!

I never had any type of intercourse, it was a white bump then it got itcy and i forgot it was there, i only just notice this 4 dayz ago and now its red and my pubic hair is still growing out of the bump so i have no clue i had a bump all i know is that it wasnt there last month, im worried i really hope this isnt a STD can someone please help me, should i be worried? im only a 16 yr old female is this something serious?? the red bump dont hurt at all not even when i touch it and i didnt pop it because im scared to and im scared to go to the doctor i just need to know is this serious please let me know im freaking out, i been searching for answers but its between molluscum contagision and ingrown hair and hair follicle and so far molluscum sounds like the worst but i took a good look and i only have one bump please is this serious??
