No! No! and No! you don't need to douche. Douching is just another marketing gimmick to get women to buy a product. My gynecologist told me my vagina is like a "self cleaning oven" and it's true! Your body has natural lubricant and secretions which clean everything out the natural way. Women haven't used douche for millions of years and we all got here in one piece. If anything, douching kills off the good bacteria that you have up there, and makes room for nasty stuff to grown. You don't need any spray or scented creams, tampons or anything else down there. Just keep it clean on the outside with good ol' soap and water and you should be fine.

No is is not necessary to douche. In a healthy female there is a natural process that precludes that to be a requirement. BUT...others might feel different about it and have a personal preference for a variety of reasons. I expect you will get a range of answers.

No, douching is bad for you. You should never do it unless under the instructions of a doctor.

It can force bacteria into the uterus, and disrupt the pH balance of your vagina leading to bacterial or yeast infections.

Your vagina is a self-cleaning orifice - that's what vaginal discharge is about - it keeps it clean and moist.

There is absolutely no need to douche. The vagina cleans itself. Douching can mess up the ph levels in your vagina and you risk getting infections.

Douching can cause infections like bacterial vaginosis (an abnormal chemical balance in your vagina) or a yeast infection, which will have you making a trip to the doc so I would just stick with washing yourself good down there and take showers more so than baths. Hope this helped ya!

No real benefits. Actually potentially harmful - too many fragrances, etc. Never, ever needed with the possible exception of using a VERY dilute vinegar wash to help rebalance the flora in rare circumstances...but I still don't think it's necessary.

No it's not necessary to douche and actually it's not a good idea to douche because you kill all the good bacteria that is needed.

Your body has the ability to clean itself, just bathe (shower)regularily and you should be just fine.

Douching is very old school. My mother did it. She never talked to me about it or taught me, but every doctor I've ever gone to asks if I douche. When I say no, they say GOOD don't start.

The vagina is self-cleaning and douching upsets the normal pH and balance of the vagina.

don't douche if you are looking for a method of birth control. A douche is particulary in-effective and i don't think many people use them anymore.

i mean you don't have to unless you feel the need and feel dirty down there . but if you do it too much it could cause you to get dry down their . it cleans it's self i would recommend your wash down there with a rag warm or hot water and a light soap . it is not good to douche it can mess up your PH balance
