exercise has been proven to delay periods. lots of things in the environment can cause periods to delay or come early. particularly if you haven't worked out for a while and just started up, your body is struggling to catch up with that and the weight you may be losing. it just takes some time to adjust. worrying about it won't help because stress also delays menstruation. people who exercise hardcore dont have regular periods. i'm not 100% sure why but since it sounds like you're working out pretty intensely i wouldn't worry about it.

No but a late ovulation causes a late period. Ovulation comes BEFORE the period. So your cycle would look something like this Ovulation (on time) Period (on time) Ovulation (delayed) Period (delayed) And no you don't ovulate at the same time like clock work all the time. there are times when ovulation could be delayed. Especially by stress.

Exercise can cause periods to be lighter or missed. I've also heard that working out, or being physically active alleviate cramps.

Probably. Strenuous exercise can delay or even cease a period.

if you do that alot it could cause it . also worrying about your period could cause stress and not make it come but you could be pregnant . or medication could do it as well
