... my hymen is still intact? I'm thinking about first time sex and worried about pain/bleeding. I've been showjumping/horseback riding for quite a few years and been using tampons so would this suggest it might have already broken? I know this seems a bit of a silly question and I'm embarrassed to ask it but is there any sure way to know?

I have a friend who lives near me, and she doesn't have access to the internet, but she wanted me to ask a question for her. She is the same age as me, but a few months younger. She said she hasn't gotten her period for a long time. She has went on BCP to help her get it, but when she stopped it, the period stopped as well. She has never had sex, and I know this is entirely true due to the fact she does not want a boyfriend right now and she has not had one in 6 years. She said that she is not hurting from [not receiving it], but she's curious to what could be happening. I'm gonna transfer the information to her tomorrow, so anyone have an idea?

i have heard that lake water could do something to you if u swim in it while ur on ur period? is it ture? could u get an infection or something??

of course you would wear a tampon, but what do the different sizes mean?

My obgyn just called me and told me that I had abnormal results on my pap smear. I am completely devastated. I have to go in to have a cervical sample taken. She told me that mine is the "mildest" of all of the different classes of abnormal pap smears. What exactly does that mean? Does that mean that I don't have cancer or does it mean I probably don't....or what? She tried to calm me and said that it was abnormal cell growth but I'm scared.

I have a one year old little boy who is my entire world and I'm frozen with fear. I'd also like to have at least 1 more child and that is upsetting me to. Does anyone have some insight? I'm just so upset, I can barely do anything. I can't go in for the cervical sample procedure until next week....then I have to wait 1+ weeks for the results. I'm not sure how to cope with the unknown for 3 more weeks. Help. :(

Can anyone tell me what day this month i would have been most likely to get pg? bc i had unprotected sex an now im worried.

When do most people start their periods. I'm thirteen and havn't. And only one of my friends hasn't either.
I've heard that you start with people you are with a lot. And it's usually just her and guy friends. And I don't know if it's normal to not have started now or what.

I was supposed to start almost 2 weeks ago. I have taken 2 preg tests and they were negative (which I knew they would be). I started a change in my diet a couple of months ago. I eat only healthy foods 5 to 6 times a day and drink water all day (no more tea, coffee, or lemonade). I have lost 13 lbs in a healthy way (about 1 to 2 lbs per month). I am not exercising vigorously and I don't have any added stress to my life. I'm too young for menopause.

I had a miscarriage a week ago at 5 weeks along. The sore boobs started when I was just barely pregnant. And it still hasn't gone away. I never had this symptoms with my other 3 pregnancies. But now I'm worried that the sore boob symptom hasn't gone away even though my HCG levels have gone down. I won't be able to be seen by my doctor for another 3 weeks. So I wanted to get some opinions while I'm waiting. I was wondering what hormones cause this symptom, and how long it takes after a miscarriage for those hormones to go away? Or if I should be concerned about something else causing my soreness?

I am not big up top by no means. Average I guess. I wear a size 4-6 in my shirts. I cannot wear anything low cut because I am not big enough. For some reason, I cannot find a bra to fit. I am modest so I don't want to go to a bra sizing. When measuring myself I thought I was a 34B. The 34 B fits good in the cup but on the loosest it seems to cut into my back. You can see the rippling from it cutting into my back. If the bra is new it feels so tight at first I am uncomfortable. I decided to go up to a 36 since there is no in between. When I tried the bras on, the A cup seemed to small so did the nearly B. The B cup seemed to fit the best. After I wore it for a day, the cup kind of got a wrinkle at the bottom like I did not fill the cup all the way. Two of them are doing this. Like I said, the A was too small squeezing me out from the sides. My question is what size bra do I buy. These bras felt comfortable and I though looked good when I tried them on.
