The other day i was at the ER for heavy bleeding and they did a pelvic, Well the Doc said that my uterus (i think) was "FORWARD"!!! What does that mean and is it bad? could that cause me problems later in life?

FYI-I can't have a baby normaly,they had to make a T-cut in my uterus when they did my last C~section!! It hasn't hurt during S*X untill i got a the fibroids i have!!

It could have some affect on giving birth. You may need to have a c-section instead of delivering vaginally.

Normally the uterus is positioned either straight up and down or tilted slightly forwards out over the pubic bone. If it is tipped too far forward, it might cause pain during sex or difficulty conceiving. Since a slightly forward uterus is normal, his comment might or might not be significant. Call your regular doctor and have her request the chart from the ER visit and ask her to review the findings. She may want you to come in for another pelvic, or she may be able to just clarify the ER docs remarks...

No, it's just the way your built. Everyone is different. Mine is tilted back. The only reason I know this is because the doctor had a hard time reaching it when I was pregnant. No worries, Doctors just say things sometimes assuming that everyone knows as much as they do. I work in the medical field, I see it all the time.

Hmmm I have heard of tilted ones - could be the same thing. Only really seems to cause problems when having a pap smear!1

that is where your uterus sits in your body, i don't think it is bad
