How can you tell when your first period ever is about to come? Does discharge stop? Will you have cramps in a certain area. I would like to know. Plz help me. I don't know if I'll ever get my period, and I want to. (I know it sounds weird, but it's true.) I'm kind of over weight, will that delay my period? I'm 13, just so you know.

I do not want to ever have a period again, I have no want to have children as I plan on fostering and adopting children. I have horrible periods and can no longer take it. What are my options; any websites to read more information will help also! Thanks so much...

I am so scared. I am 23, and I have 2-4 breast lumps. I had an ultrasound today (no mammogram because I'm under 30.) I know my odds are likely that they are not cancerous. However, my father's mother had breast cancer. Will I still have to have surgery to remove these? I don't get a diagnosis until Thursday.

I have an event coming up and i've heard that you can just skip the sugar pills in a 28 day pack of BC and just continue taking the pills with hormones so you'll miss your period.. Is this true? Will it confuse your body?

Don't really know any other way to say it. lol
When I'm on my period, I always get a lot of gas and I have to go poop a lot.
Could it be the cramps?

Often I will see a very thin pregnant woman, belly hanging out with no stretchmarks whatsoever. If stretch marks are caused by skin stretching then wouldnt a thin persons skin have to stretch even more than a person who's skin was already stretched over some flab which would then cause stretch marks? I was medium sized at the beginning of my pregnancy and I got the worst stretch marks halfway up my abdomen, my friends sister who is stick thin has had 2 kids and has never had a stretch mark! How can this happen?

I was on birth control pills for about 7 years and i stopped taking them about 1.5 month ago and still dont have my period just yet. How many months should I wait till I got my cycle again? And I noticed hair loss. If I want to go back to my birth control again, should I wait till I got my period first?

hello, i have a question concerning possible pregnancy. i started my period july 30 and i was still wearing a tampon on the august 7th because my periods usually last long but the last days are just a darker brownish discharge. my boyfriend and i dry humped on the 7th with all our clothes on and i had the tampon in. when we finished it felt a little damp there. he did not ejaculate but i'm wondering if pre-ejaculatory fluids could have possibly gone through enough for me to worry about pregnancy??? I started my birth control the next day and took two pills and two the next day as well since i didn't start them the exact day i should have. the brownish discharge continued until about the 9th or tenth. could that have just been from me messing my pills up? or could i possibly be pregnant?

Okay, so I was drinking at my best friends house last year and i ended up blacking out. one of the people there, ended up having sex with me. but i didnt report it. should i have? i didnt because i thought it was MY fault for drinking too much, AND my friend smom would get in trouble for letting us drink when we were underage. we were 20. and this is a really close friend, but he went to sleep downstairs before this happened. it hurt me a lot, and this guy said i consented and some people there think i knew what was going on, but i honestly blacked out and dont remember anything. i just know i was very sore the next morning and ...i dont know. should i have reported him? would it have gotten me or my friends mom in trouble? thanks.

I was on birth control pills called Ortho cyclen (NOT ortho-tri) and had really bad side effects. So I went back to Planned Parenthood and the nurse gave me new brand pills called Lutera.

The nurse told me to keep taking Ortho active pills until Saturday and start Lutera, the new pills, on Sunday, which caused me to skip my period. (She said it's perfectly fine to skip period once in a while especially if you have bad cramps)

I have gone out of town for few days and I forgot to bring my pills with me. I missed 2 pills in a row and I started my period. I didn't know what to do so I kept taking the active pills even though i was on my period, and next week, I'll be taking the sugar pills.

What should I do? Should I start the new pack or finish the pack i'm taking?


I'd really appreciate any advices from professional nurses or any personal opinions.

this is weird but i wanted to know why my pubic hair is extremly curly and wirey when the hair on my head is straight. It seems to cause tangling a lot too. any suggestions on how to fix this?

I get extremely depressed to the point that I think of cutting
I get spazzy and have crying spells.
I get sensitive and hurt easily by simple insults.
I feel hopeless.
I feel like things will never be ok.

We've been trying to get pregnant for 2 years now. Everything they've suggested we've tried. My doctor has told me if i'd lose weight i should be able to get pregnant even tho my periods are pretty normal and regular she still thinks losing weight will help. Well last time i lost weight i used diet pills just a 2 a day and dropped weight really well. I know your not supposed to take them while you are pregnant but has anyone took them in advance to get pregnant and did it take longer to get pregnant or was there any side effects? thanks!! i weigh 240 and im 5'8
