Okay, so I was drinking at my best friends house last year and i ended up blacking out. one of the people there, ended up having sex with me. but i didnt report it. should i have? i didnt because i thought it was MY fault for drinking too much, AND my friend smom would get in trouble for letting us drink when we were underage. we were 20. and this is a really close friend, but he went to sleep downstairs before this happened. it hurt me a lot, and this guy said i consented and some people there think i knew what was going on, but i honestly blacked out and dont remember anything. i just know i was very sore the next morning and ...i dont know. should i have reported him? would it have gotten me or my friends mom in trouble? thanks.

Yes, you should have reported him. Depending on your local laws, you still could report him... but the problem is now that you didn't go in and have a rape exaim, so it's your word vs. the guys words.
Yes, you didn't put yourself in a good postition and it may have been dumb. BUT THIS IS NO EXCUSE FOR RAPE. There is no excuse for rape. Just being you were drinking (underage or not) does not mean you are open to other guys.
You may have gotten into trouble... But most people (that matter) would have been more concerned that you were alright.
If this ever happens to you or a friend again, please report it. We need to get these guys in trouble for raping women. No one deserves rape.
I hope you are okay. If you are still bothered by this, you should consider counseling.

It doesn't matter where you got the alcohol...the offense that occured is far worse than letting someone almost 21 drink. Just because you report him does not mean you have to rat out your friends mother. And no matter how much a woman drinks she still is not at fault for something like this. Being taken advantage of is not ok and should immediately be reported. If not, you probably won't be the last drunk girl passed out that he has his way with.

If u feel sad and hate him because grab ur virgin then report police let him know rape girl then need to know the answer....
If u don't care ur virgin then just try to forget this and just think this is never happen and u still got u virgin as if ur future husband really love u then he will not mind because u are not virgin anymore because not ur fault...

If you blacked out and only remember that someone had sex with you it could have been your friend.
You should have reported it. It WAS your fault for drinking too much, but nobody should ever take advantage of you because you are too drunk to say no.
Yeah it would have gotten them in trouble, but they never should have allowed alcohol to minors in the first place.

You should definately report this. If he did it to you, who knows how many other innocent women have also been raped by this creap.
Report this, it is a crime, you were violated.
Don't think about mom getting in trouble or what people would say about you....You did nothing wrong, being drunk doesn't mean every tom/dick/harry can have their way with you.
Do it for you and do it for other girls, report the jerk!!!

okay, im answering this as someone who has been raped before, you should seek some type of counseling, if it is still bothering you! also, i think you need to stop dwelling on the fact that you didnt report him, because it was over a year ago, and there really isnt anything that can be done about it now! i mean, as stupid as most systems are, nothing is done half the time when immediately reported, more-less a year later! please, if it is still bothering you, seek some type of counseling!

Well, rape is no joke. Maybe it would get you in trouble because your parents would think, "Oh, ****, my son has been drinking underage and he passed out on top of that!" You would get caught, but at least lawful justice would be served. It's your choice, but I wouldn't really want to let this shitpacker get away with that.

definately report it. something similar happend to me when i was 15, only i didnt black out and i clearly said no i was just to drunk to defend myself. I was too scared to report it and it's been almost 2 years and I still live in fear that he'll do it again even though i havent talked to him since.
