i gave birth three weeks ago, and received a good amount of stitches. is it okay to shave, or use nair? or is there some other way i can do that?

I just measured and it was a little over 8 inches. is that to small for someone my age? I just dont want to be embarrased when he time comes. I want to ask women because i think only they would know. what a good size is.

Im not PGand me and my husband arent wanting any children just yet. but I heard that prental vitamins are realy good to take even if you arent PG. My questions are, is it safe to take right now? and I heard that they can cause you to become PG very easily even while on BC's. My hubby is deployed, so how long before he comes home should I stop taking them if that is the case?

How do i tell my mom that i want to get birth-control? It's for my period's they are always so iregular and i started them when i was 12 and im 15 now! I also want to see a women doctor ( i forgot the name). How do i talk to her? We are close but i dont know how to talk to her about this kind of stuff.

Well, I haven't had ym period yet, but I'm thirteen and I'm worrying about when ti'll happen. I'm not sure a few years aggo i thought I had something like a period but it never even lasted half a day. Anwyays, I don't feel comfortable wearing tampons. What do you think I should do?

Can starting birth control at the wrong time (different than what the package says) make you have slight cramping, or these strange feelings in the abdomen? Also, I heard they will make my period start when I am through the active pills. And when I first started the birth control I had unprotected sex, but he didn't orgasm. Still, I hear precum can get you pregnant. That was about a week or two ago. Do you think I'm pregnant or it's just the birth control? I am also getting closer to the time where I might get my period, I just might be late. I'm not sure!!!

I start on Alesse at the beginning of September and I'm kind of nervous.

i had unprotected sex on july 22nd.
on the 25th i got my period -- full heavy period
today..august 15th (about 10-14 days before i should get my period) i had dark brown bleeding
do you think this is implantation bleeding?
when can i take a hpt?

My mother asked a stupid question about who people on YA thought looked better, me or her. And I already had very low self esteem...and she showed me the answers...and Im so upset!

Apparently I'm:
fat (even though Im so active everyone thinks I look obese! Im 5' and 93 pounds. I thought I was ok)
I have an odd shaped face
a big nose
creepy eyes
apparently I dress like trailor trash (dont know how dressing from forever 21 made me look like trailor trash)
my eyes are creepy
my hair is awfull
and my forehead is too long

I just feel like dying now, and my mother is just going "see? see? what did I tell you?" Im practically bawling.

how can I change all of that (I know I can change some of it without it) without reconstructive surgery??? I want to be pretty so badly.

i have been on nuvaring for a little over a year now and i had my annual pap just last week well my periods were a lil messed up just spotting not to heavy and well the pap came back as not stisfied and i dont have a std or anything of that sort (we r both faithfull and into a relationship for 3 years) but this period was late i take it out sunday morning at 6am every sunday and usually start on tues night its like clock work well this month was diff didnt start till friday night and that was spotting then a heavy flow for one day n done just a brownish discharg once or twice on sunday i was on antibiotics about 2 months ago and totally forgot that they pretty much stop birth control but my doc said leave the ring in n if no period next month then take a test but should i take one now or am i preg or just worried....has the same thing happend to anyone else?

Around 2 months ago I took a plan B pill. It caused me to start my period 2 weeks early. That was 5 weeks ago. Well I haven't started yet. Is it possible my period is starting back on track? Or could it be something else? Any ideas. Btw I'm also 20 years old.

I'm 13 and my period isn't regular yet, so I had planned to go to a water park tomorrow, but yesterday my period popped up and now I'm mad. Is there any way that I could just stop my period? I typically sleep 8-10 hrs. and I change my tampon right when I wake up but everyones saying that i will get an infection like TSS. Am I ok leaving my tampon in that long? Everyone says to wear pads to bed and use tampons during the day but if I use a pad at night I usually bleed through them and either ruin my underwear and pajamas or even sometimes my sheets. Got any solutions to my problem?

I've been on my pills for over a year and a half and this is the first time I missed it. When I started this current pack, I tried to switch the times that I take it because of a new job, my work shift is at night most of the time. I missed it Monday (I believe) because I'm still getting used to this new time. I'm already planning on stopping off to get EC, but was just curious for input.
I am responsible with it, and I know I should have consulted a doctor before switching my pill times.

A 20 yr old female has a tongue problem that began a month ago: A few white, raised bumps at the back of the tongue. they are small, like smaller than a nub earring. then a few little tiny bumps further up from them (very small like just dots), then the rest of the tongue it is whitish and peeling a little. When this started a month ago it was worse and it improved but these stuff is still on the tongue. it's like it doesn't go away; like it gets better, then a few days it comes back. but as i said it's not as bad as a month ago...the doc said looks like an infectious virus, but did a blood test and the blood was normal. he could not detect any virus or infection. he said they can be undetectable sometimes.... but the tongue shows that something is going on. I really would like to know what could be the cause of this. Will have to see another doc, but looking for some insights. Thanks for your help.

I have had my period for nearly three weeks. It comes and goes, and is heaviest just after having a bowel movement. It was a few months late, which is fairly normal for me- I've always been irregular. But I've never had one this long. I haven't had cramping or pain, just continued menstruation. Should I be seeing a doctor about this, or should I wait until it resolves itself?
