Can starting birth control at the wrong time (different than what the package says) make you have slight cramping, or these strange feelings in the abdomen? Also, I heard they will make my period start when I am through the active pills. And when I first started the birth control I had unprotected sex, but he didn't orgasm. Still, I hear precum can get you pregnant. That was about a week or two ago. Do you think I'm pregnant or it's just the birth control? I am also getting closer to the time where I might get my period, I just might be late. I'm not sure!!!

if you are on birth control, a few days after you finish taking the active pills, your period should start. The pill doesnt make you immune to cramps though, so it could be that. Some people have mid-period spotting when they first are getting used to the pill, which could cause some discomfort.
I would say wait until the active pills are out before you worry about being pregnant, but dont have unprotected sex again. nothing is foolproof but abstinence, so even with BCP's you can get pregnant.

You can start the pills on the first day of your period, the sunday after your period or whenever you want. If you start in the middle of your cycle you should use a back up for a month. Your cycle will readjust, but it may take a while. You may have breakthrough bleeding anytime you start taking bc pills. Usually within three months it will regulate or you need to see your doc for a change in pills. When you get to the 4th week of pills you should have your period. It may be light and less cramps etc, this is normal.

Yes you can get pregnant from pre-ejaculate. It depends on when you had sex as to whether you could be pregnant. If it has been at least 4 wks since your last period you might take a test to see. You really don't want to be taking bc pills if you are pregnant. It sounds unlikely that you are, but stranger things have happened. You need to read the package/talk to your doc about missing pills etc. to avoid further scares.

To start the pills at a wrong moment will make them not to protect you from pregnancies and cause you hormonal disturbances that may include what you say: crampings, period that comes before or after the expected date, etc.

Do the things as you are told to, any meds taken the wrong way can hurt your health or be useless.

even though he didn't orgasm he still releases some sperm around when you start. also taking birth control at the wrong time will probably effect you and you would most likely get your period that day. good luck!
