I'm 13 and my period isn't regular yet, so I had planned to go to a water park tomorrow, but yesterday my period popped up and now I'm mad. Is there any way that I could just stop my period? I am a tampon user, and I'm not on birth control, but it's times like these I wish I were. I've even thought about faking sick tomorrow. Help please?

LOL there is NO WAY to "just stop" your period, especially once it starts!

Welcome to womanhood!

Bring some tampons or no water sports!

Don't let your period run your life!

Sorry, dear, there's no way to guarantee stopping it by tomorrow.
Using tampons tomorrow should be fine; just be careful how you throw yourself on the slide and hit the water. Go to the bathroom frequently to check on and replace the tampon.
Or just say you can't go for whatever reason - the females will understand without being told.

If you were older and your periods more regular, birth control can help you plan ahead. You'll have an exact idea of when your period will arrive, and if you take action at the beginning of the week you can skip it entirely. But it often comes back with a vengeance the following month, so don't overuse this option.

Get a locker, and change it every hour or so! You'll be just fine. Make sure when you put a new one in that you hide the string!!!!!!!!! Have fun going down the water slides and don't worry so much about it hon! Also if it would make you more comfortable, get a little swimming suit skirts. There so cute and may make you feel a little more comfortable.

i think you should go and have fun! you should wear a tampon, a baithing suit (and if you want you can use a pad in it but it may get heavy) and a pair of shorts. just take extra tampons with you and keep them in a backpack centraly located in the park so you can get to them when you need to. if you have fun, sometimes you forget all about your period! dont fake sick...go have a good time! just remember to bring a few pair of underware and another pair of extra shorts. good luck!
