What symptoms did you have after you came off the shot? How long did they last? Did you have difficulty conceiveing and did you miscarry? Thanks

While i was on the depo shot i hated sex...i didn't even want my husband kissing me and i ordinarily am a very affectionate person. I also bled the whole 6 mos i was on the shot. After the shot i had 2 miscarriages but then i conceived 6 mos after i was done with the last shot and that pregnancy resulted in my 11 yr old son. My sister was also on the shot and she conceived right away after she was done with the shot. I know a lot of people who haven't had any problem after being on the shot.

i grow to be on depo for over 6 years and have been given pregnant in the past I have been given my first genuine cycle. i grow to be cautioned that it may probable take a minimum of a three hundred and sixty 5 days to conceive yet i'm at the instant 34 weeks and have not had a menstrual cycle in in simple terms approximately 7 years. fortunate Me!

Had normal periods, conceived normally and, thank God, never miscarried. If you don't want to take the shots, use a different method of birth control until you are ready to have a child. Good luck!

i was on depo for 1 year & a half and i didnt get a period at all. when i got off i didnt get a period for at least 4 months & till this day it has been almost 1 year & a half and i get my period now but it is very irregular & i tell my dr about it & he says it will get back 2 normal on its own. i did not gain any weight while on the shot. my friend was on the depo for 4 yrs and when she got off she got pregnant 2 months later. my other friend was on it for 6 yrs and it took her 1 yr to get pregnant. u shouldnt b on the depo shot for more than 2 yrs u lose calcium in your bones when u r on the shot u have to take calcium supplements.

I lost a few pounds as I had put on weight while on it. I also became pregnant within months of comming off it. Im not sure If its realated to the depovera, but I had a lot of troubles with that pregnancy, and a 9 week prem baby. My waters broke when I was 16 weeks so was in and out of hospital throughout it.

I went immediately on Kariva to get my periods back, and will come off of that early next year.
I know some who have had to see a fertility specialist though. I have also read about some that got pregnant not long after getting off the shot.

I've lost my libido because of Depo Provera!
