ANYTIME you have sex you can get pregnant.

On contraceptives you can get pregnant as NOTHING is 100% effective except abstinence.

This has got to be the longest sentence I have ever seen!

If you spotted, flowed for one day then it turned brown, I'm going to say you are probably not pregnant. I would take a test to be sure and put your mind at ease. Sometimes having a pap will mess up your period. Brown is usually old blood which could have come from the pap.

Dude, punctuation is your friend!

Well, not one birth control method is 100% except the obvious... abstinence. But where's the fun in that?

I'm on nuva and I have never had any problems with it like the ones you are describing. I think you should go to the pharmacy and buy a pregnancy test just to ease your mind!

Like others have said, it's always possible. Unlikely, but possible.
Take a test. If it's positive, I'd say take our your ring ASAP and get an appointment to confirm your pregnancy.
Good luck.

Sorry the only thing that is 100% effective for not getting pregnant is abstinance. So in other words it is possible.

If you have the ring it, that can tend to make a pap smear come out funny. I think you should get the ring removed then get a pap smear.

Yes, you could be pregnant. No birth control is 100% effective.
