You can get pregnant at ANY time.

First of all I feel as though I need to say that all women at any age should keep track of her cycle. My husband and I use Natural family planning and I always know ahead of time when I am going to be ovulating and if I need to be ready for aunt flow. I think that you should consider the 24 the first day of your period. Now this will not be 100% acurate because you dont keep track of all the things you would if you were using the sympto-thermal family planning method, but it should help you get an idea. Because the infertile phase of all women is about 14 days after you ovulate and you can get pregnant 3 days before you ovulate , you need to take the length of your cycle and take away 17. (eg. 29-17 = 12) The number you get would be the fisrt day of your cycle that if you had sex you could become pregnant,(sperm can survive 72hours after sex) add three days to that and thats when you ovulated . Keep in mind that the egg can be furtilized up to 24 hours after you ovulate. Just in case you didnt know your cycle starts the firts day of your period. Good luck with this and i hope that whatever happens you will be happy.

Figure from the date your regular period started. Remember, however, that this is only marginally reliable, especially if you are still in your teens... your ovaries can always release several days early or late, and sperm can live inside you for 5 and sometimes even 7 days...

If your period is late this month, get a home preg test from the local drug store or call Planned Parenthood...

Because of all the variables, you should really look into a long term birth control solution. If you're still a minor, contact Planned Parenthood or the United Way 1st Call for Help (dial 2-1-1 in most cities). In most states, minors of 16 or even 13 years have the right to confidential birth control, without parental involvement...
