I just had my ears pierced....how long do i have to clean them for, and how long do i need to keep the earrings in?

i am 15 i weigh 100 puonds and am 5'1. i am goin to the keys this summer anddont want to wear tampons. so i started my peroid when i was about 97 pounds if i lose 5 pounds i wount have peroid that month. its not until june so i have till june one to lose 5 poundss. please give mr ideas on how to lose the weight.

Through personal experience, which birth control pill was the best overall when it came to side effects? I'm currently on Ortho-Tricyclen Lo and am thinking about switching when my prescription runs out in a few months and am curious of how other brands have affected other people. Also, just out of curiousity, how much did you pay for whatever brand you've been on? Thanks so much, I really appreciate any answers!

We have been together for about 9 months. I've tried to talk to her about it and I even gave her the information to call the health clinic in the area. I told her there's the patch, the ring, and other forms of contraception, since I don't support the birth control pill. She supposedly was misinformed by a friend whose mother is a nurse. This nurse told her that once she gets on birth control she won't be able to get pregnant easily later on in life. She has never used it before in her life and we're both 23. We don't like using condoms, so that's out of the question. What should I do differently so that I can get this stubborn girl on birth control?

I have been on the pill for the past 3 years due to my period not being regular... I was told I have polistic ovaries and its better for me to stay on the pill until i'm older and want to conceive... I am really scared now about this.. I asked my gynacolgist and she said that firstly:

1) being on the pill does NOT cause infertility
2) and polistic ovaries doesnt either?

She said I just have the apperance of this condition on my ovaries and it is very common... but no symptons? im very confused and scared I can be infertile... can anyone help me with this please.... :-s

I know I may sound stupid, but I don't know how to use a tampon. My friend tried it the other day, and freaked out, and i am scared i will to. I am going to Florida next week, and I might be on my period... and I only go there once a year, and I swim ALOT! And I dont want to be all cooped up inside all day. I haven't got my period since the shot wore off on 01 March. I've only recieved one shot..but I have had pain and cramping. What i am worried about is that I have only seen two spots, both a week apart. Literatly... once I saw them , I didn't even need any pad because they were gone. Has anyone else experienced this? I am pretty nervous....

pretty much im wondering if you still get the ovulation discharge white and gross when you are on birth control pills. i have been taking it for almost two months and i still get discharge on the 13 or 14 day of my period. so do release an eggs or not because what is the point of taking thepill if you still going to ovulate..??? very confuse

I started the pill (yasmine) on the 16th, my last period was the week of the 5th. I am not sure if I ovulated already, on the 17th (day after I started pill) I noticed egg white like mucus, how can I tell if I have ovulated?

Currently my discharge is on the thick side, not runny and no longer resembles egg white. Also I started having a funny feeling in my lower abdomin..sort of like a anxious/nervous feeling, could this be ovulation or the birth control or did I mess something up starting birth control at this time. My husband and I have not had sex recently so I know I am not pregnant but if I were to have sex this week would there be a great chance I can get pregnant (being on the pill and all) ?

Okay, not long ago I have posted a few questions about the pill.
This goes back to January 12th, when I bought the pills. The previous night was the accident & within those 24 hours, I had taken the pill, 1 at a certain hour, the other another 9 hours, or something like that.
Ok, the effect of it was I spotted like 2 days later, then stopped. Gave me cramps here and there. I was nervous as hell, i took 2 pregnancy tests and they both came out negative.
Maybe like another 2 weeks later, I spotted again. It was a mixture of lite regular blood and some discharge of brown, no idea. It spooked me out. It lasted a couple days, I don't know in which I should just say that was my period. (That was last month)
This month, I'm anticipating it to be normal because last time people had told me to be calm because the pills have a high dose of hormones and can throw off my cycle.
Now I just came out the shower and once again I got the odd discharge and I do have some cramping, what's going on?
