your period and your weight have nothing to do with each other, you could be 4'11 and 90 pounds ( thats what I was) and still get your period. You don't need to diet you are a very healthy weight.

It sounds like you are wanting to tone muscle instead of lose weight. To me you sound plenty skinny. These excericises will help with weight loss as well as toning muscle.
*there is no easy way to lose weight
1. 30 sit-ups in the morning and 15 in the night.
2. weight lifting, weights can be made of anything, even filled milk jugs. Do this for about 1/2 an hour a day if possible
3. lay on the ground and lift your feet from the floor 4-6 inches, the closer to the ground while still not touching, the better the work out. Do this for 10 second increments with at least 15 second rest in between. Do this for around 10 minutes.

you should eat healthy foods and exercise but really you shouldnt be trying to lose weight just to not get your period that is not a healthy thing to do. Just try using a tampon once before you go and you can get used to it. Tampax pearl is really easy to put in and comfortable. also, if you are only 15 i'm assuming your period isnt exactly regular yet so you might not have it when you are there anyway. Also, if you are comfortable with it you can ask your mom about being on birth control pills, that way your period will be the exact same time every month and it can help keep your skin clear. A lot of young girls do go on the pill to regulate thier period its totally normal.

1. Weight loss- think of your body as a wood burning stove. The wood (body fat) will only burn when the stove is at operating temperature (strength training and aerobic exersize) The more wood (food) installed in the stove (body) The larger the stove becomes unless your burning more than you put in. There are roughly 3500 caleries in a pound. you have to burn off all of the caleries that you intake plus an additional 3500 to loose weight. Of course you burn caleries all day long no matter what you do.

According to a BMI calculator (Body Mass Index) you are in the average area with a bmi of 18.9 overweight bmi is 25 and up. considering your age you probably shouldn't be to worried about losing weight. it can really mess your metabolism up. if you dont want to wear tampons try finding something else that works for you, girls who are extremely flexible like gymnasts , or other extremely active girls usually either dont have periods or have very short periods, also when your in the water for some reason your body doesnt produce as much flow as out... wow sounds like tmi. Tampons arent the enemy, consider giving them a try there are all sorts out there

Good GOD, what's wrong with you? You're 15 years old. Your body is in no way ready to do the kind of unhealthy dieting needed to lose your period. For that matter, nobody is. I'd be satisfied with 100lbs., myself.
