You could try using baby wipes after, as many times this happens because of bacteria that tend to hang around, if you catch my drift. I'm not suggesting you're doing anything wrong, but you also have to really be careful when you (and he) go to the bathroom and wipe, wipe, wipe.
Also, drinking cranberry juice or taking a cranberry supplement can help reduce the symptoms of UTI.

As others suggested, daily cranberry juice and peeing right after have made a big differance for my wife.
Other possible things:
Make sure there's no anal then vaginal contact. You can go anal, but you can't go back again.
Apparently positions where there is pounding from above are more likely to cause an issue. From behind is less likely.
Try the cranberry/peeing first though.

First of all I would ask about angles, no joke. If he is rubbing your urethera during sex or foreplay, he can introduce bacteria. If you are using positions that keep your legs close together, this can also happen. So check your positioning. And another important thing is to urinate immediately after sex. It will help wash away any bacteria in the urethera. In the mean time, get on some cranberry pills (natural prevention) and up your fluids. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. I didnt all the normal stuff like stop drinking dark pop and caffeine drinks, drink cranberry juice odr lots of lemon water and stopped wearing thongs as much. One very important thing that i wasnt doing was peeing after sex. You get bacteria up there during sex and peeing helps to flush it out before it causes you a problem. It made all the difference for me.

Making sure that you have no broken skin inside of you, you can douche yourself out with salted water. It will kill most kinds of infections, but just remember if you are trying to get pregnant don't use the salt water method because it also kills your husbands sperm. You must use the coarse cooking salt, not the refined table salt. An old nursing matron in a maternity hospital told one of my best friends that this was also a good contraceptive and it does work. You even have up to 24 hrs. after intercourse to use it. My friend and I both used it successfully as a contraceptive.

Some women, I am one on of them too, just get them more often. Be sure to go to the bathroom right after sex, shower, drink lots of water/cranberry juice or take cranberry pills. Also for oral make sure you hubbie brushes first.
