pretty much im wondering if you still get the ovulation discharge white and gross when you are on birth control pills. i have been taking it for almost two months and i still get discharge on the 13 or 14 day of my period. so do release an eggs or not because what is the point of taking thepill if you still going to ovulate..??? very confuse

Yes, the pill stops you from ovulating but your body still functions as if you are ovulating, thus the reason you still get your period. Your body is still going through the same routine as when you weren't taking birth control, it is just not releasing an egg. This is why you are still having the discharge that you had before you started taking birth control.

If everything goes as it should, you should not be ovulating while on the pill. That is the whole point of the pill, it makes your body think you are pregnant, so you don't release another egg.

It's supposed to stop you from ovulating. There are people who still get pregnant on the pill, so who knows?!

the pill is suppose to stop you from ovulating....if you think that you might be ovulating it could be that the pill is not strong enough for you..just talk to your doctor
