I'm 28. I've been suffering from severe cramps since the onset of my period at the age of 11. I've always missed school/work the first few days of my cycle. My periods have also always been very irregular. At 19 I self-diagnosed myself with endometriosis; many, many cysts were burned off the back of my uterus. I thought this was the explanation for my pain, but every doctor I visit seems to disregard it as an option, as my paps always come back normal.
What really concerns me is the terrible burning sensation I experience with my cramps. It's a relatively new addition to the onslaught on symptoms. It feels like a thousand lit cigarettes are being held to my innards. No amount of medication provides relief. I literally am a bawling mess who can not leave my bathroom floor for days.
If anybody has any suggestions for even the slightest relief, please help me by passing them on.
Thank you,
Heather
