My mother is 51 yrs old and recently has been complaining about feeling really hot. She feels a burning sensation all over her body, specially her neck and hands. This sensation is followed or starts with a headache. Is she experiencing hot flashes?

I'm concerned because she has diabetes and I'm worried that this might be a bad sign or something.

Ok I'm trying to slim down for the upcoming summer season and to make myself feel and look better in general. I'm not overweight but I'm certainly not skinny. I'm 5'1 and before I started exercising I weight 118, with a goal in mind of 108. 2 weeks later of running on the treadmill and stationary bike for 45 minutes (500 calories according to the machines) everyday I am up to 123? I'm really confused and its very discouraging. I take a multivitamin and also am on celexa for anxiety (just started that around a month ago if that might have to do with the gain) I eat a lot of chicken and snack on carrots and clemintines and eat a 6 small meals (200 calories) a day. Its just not adding up for me, any advice?

i think i,m going through perimenopause i will get blood test results on tuesday. Just wondering any others of you going crazy from it? And what do you do for it? The anxiety, jitters irrability can't sit still feeling i have to take xanax to take the ege off.

How do dancers handle it when their bodies change? I mean with wearing leotards and having periods and not being able to wear underpants with your leotard? What about the pubic hair, how do you keep it from showing when you wear a leotard? And what about your breasts, you can't wear bras under leotards either? Help, I'm confused and need to know what to expect.

I have been havig brown spotting for almost a week well the last couple of days the spotting has turned dark red and it's a little more heavier than just spotting. if i stick toilet paper up their it gets soaked with blood, when i pee the clear water turns dark red and ican see the blood pouring out of me however i have been wearing a pantyliner the last two days since this red bleeding has started and nothing has got onto the liner, only sometimes a couple drops spill onto the panty liner but it all stays inside it is not flowing i have never has this happen befor. I am takin porgesterone cream and my last period was jan20th-25th but befor my period i did not have a period for a year befor hand. I have had several tests which all came out perfect. not PCOS either..she gave me provera 10mg for 7 days to make me start my period i had jan 20th....what is going on??????please help

When I'm doing cardio, sweating, or my heart rate is up while exercising, afterwards my stomach seems to swell up. It stays bloated for the rest of the day, and I can't for the life of me figure out why? It usually happens when I'm sweating for a long period of time, more than say, a half-hour. Any guesses as to why this is?

I have recently gone off the pill, as my husband wish o start trying for a child in a few months. I stoped taking the normal pills when it was my week for the sugar pills (I id not take the sugar pills)... Yet I still have not got my period.. it was been around 3 weeks.
I must say that every now and then i do skip (my body just decides for its self), but I would have thought when I did not take them as normal after the sugar week that my body should have gone, hold on this is not right - and it would have come on then.. but still nothing. Is this something I should worry about?? Serious answers only please

no health insurance to go to dr. and if i go to e.r. w/ no ins they dont help...i went to doctor 6 months ago they said give your body time,,this was my 2nd child no problem w/first child,,im havin menstral type bleedin 3 weeks out of the month,,,it will stop for3-5days and come back again/////anybody know what the hells wrong with me???????????/

why does women get upset when their husband don't plan to make it to the birth of their son or daughter? I know the husband was the one who created the baby but still, she can go through the baby birth by herself. I did to my wife but she really got upset. I was there for her for 8 months, and I went to vacation on the 9th month so I made myself cannot be there. Why is that wrong?

ok. my mom wont let me get any of that normal stuffs becuse it gives you breast cancer or something like that.. so i have to use this natural stuff.. and i cleanse my pits thouroughly, i put on my deoderant and stuffs.. but.. no matter what.. as soon as i start to sweat, or get juss a lil warm.. there i go being all stinky again.Its really embarrasing and makes me really self concience. i think my boyfriend noticed the smell last nite when i jumped into his arms.its REALLY embarrasing. and im always kinda missing out on the fun in life because im always busy trying to make sure that my pits dont stink.. i guess what im trying to say is there something natural and stuffs that can solve my problem?? I started my period,
last July.
i am not sexually active.
anyways,
I have not started my period,
and it has been since Jan. 7 of 8th or 9th,
is when my last one ended.
I AM FREAKING OUT.

They say look at people and your family and maybe you are just too skinny well fortunely that's not the problem. I happen to be 5'7 and 137lbs. I wouldn't call that too skinny and come on I don't want to get fatter because I have tried to goes to my stomach not my boobs. Ok about family. My mom started her period when she was in the 5th grade and she is a C cup right now. I don't really know when my sister got her period but she is also a C cup. She is a little bigger than me and is 16 but even if she was my age, my size she would still have bigger boobs. She had bigger boobs when she was only in 5th grade then mine are now(I'm a freshmen that's 4 years difference).You know what I'm trying to say? I even look at all my aunts and they have big boobs too. My 9 year old sister is starting to get bigger boobs then me!! Oh yeah btw I'm 14 and have already gotten my period once in march last year(06) then didn't have one again til January 07. Does this mean anything? It doesn't make since!!!
