I recommend a women's electric shaver. They are more comfortable than traditional razors, and they give you really good results. Just go to the store, and go to the section that has guy's electric shavers. You will also see pink women's shavers as well.

Do like I did, start with an electric shaver until you're more comfortable with the whole shaving thing. Then, buy a razor and make sure your legs are lubricated with either shaving cream or running water in a shower. Even when you nick yourself sometimes you dont even feel it. But be careful and dont go too fast around the knees. You'll get the hang of it hun.

It'll hurt if you cut yourself, but you won't if you're careful. Buy some shaving cream (they have shaving cream for both men and women now) and make sure your skin is completely covered with it so the razor will glide smoothly and you'll be less likely to cut yourself. If you're a guy, ask your dad or older brother to show you how, and if you're a girl ask your mom or older sister. You should watch someone do it, and you can't do that here.

Buy an electric women's shaver. It is too easy to cut yourself with a razor. Some women do use epilators to remove the hair, but those women are the boldest of the bold. An epilator removes each hair from the root. That lasts longer than shaving, but it can be extremely painful.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
