My period is always on time and I am 5 days late. I think I may be pregnant. I just kind of have a feeling and I need to know if I'm just freaking out. I have been feeling kind of weird. My breasts are tender and I've been unusually tired so I don't know if that's just symptoms from my period or what. Please help!!

It is the first birth control pill I've ever used. When I have sex my right ovary hurts and I spotted. What's wrong? I've always had bad periods which is why I got on birth control, and also to help prevent pregnancy, but I'm worried something else is wrong too. Any suggestions?

We had not have any intercourse yet but my partner gently fingered me on several occasions which did not cause any bleeding. Today he did it roughly and the bleeding came. I suspect the hymen is broken since he did it roughly this time but it might also be caused by his fingernails cutting the vaginal wall? I've checked that his nails are nice and short though. Is there a way to find out what caused the bleeding? How long will the bleeding last? After 6 hours, I still see a little blood :-S

I have a history of ovarian cysts..normal non cancerous non tissue benign cysts that just disappear over time but i am wondering if any nurses or drs know if ovarian cysts can affect your fertility?..i have had 3 ovarian cysts in the past 2 years..and i knew i had then because they were painful n i went 2 the ER..thanks!

Or on the Sunday after? Is it just so you know you're not pregnant before you begin them? I'm going on vacation, and would like to start them in like 4 or 5 days so I'm not on my period while I'm on vacation? Is there a consequence to this?

Well I just finished my first month's pack of birth control pills (alesse to be exact) and I took my first reminder pill yesterday and my period still is not here.

Keep in mind that I started the pill 2 or 3 days after my period had finished on a Friday night.

I have been sexually active, but all times with a condom and not all that often...

So is it just my body adjusting to the pill? Should I be expecting it soon, or is there something else? I highly doubt that I am pregnant, really but you never know...

So what do you think?

ok well im 13, and i have been having my period since i was 11. and everytime i get it i have really really bad cramps. (once to the point where i had to go to to the hospital) sometimes the pain comes from the right side of my stomach, something to do with my appendix. so last august the doctors were going to have my appendix removed but they didnt. so i was thinking of getting it removed since i hurts once in a while and really hurt when i get my period. so my question is will my appendix getting removed cause other pains or symtoms? and is it a good idea for me to get it removed. please i could use some advice??

Im really worried because I keep getting a 'dizzy' sensation. I would describe it as being off balance, it is worse today and seems to be worse when I have consumed alcohol the day before, it is been happening on and off for a few weeks now. If I move my head quckly or bend down or try and focus on something close to me it gets worse. Its not a very nice senstion at all and I am a hypocondriact (can't spell) so I keep thinking the worse. I got a tiny bit of a cold come on about the same time as this started but just a sniffle though so I dont know if thats anything to do with it. Just want reassurance really and was wondering if any of you had experienced this.

Do either of these affect the 'seratonin' in my body? Is that what I need to get me out of this slight case of 'blues'? How long does it take to work if thats what I'm taking care of. Could someone explain 'seratonin' like I'm a child so that I can understand it ?
