I was told this after I had my son and thought they were insane but it really works. Heat will make the soreness worse. You can buy creams and things but try the cabbage first.

What sort of soreness? dull ache, sore nipples? is it because of anything in particular? i had sore nipples when i was breastfeeding and got an antiseptic spray for them but i'm not sure there's anything you can actually do for sore breasts.

Try Vitamin E in oil form and maybe a cream. Or witchhazel.
