It sounds really weird but a really good idea is cabbage leaves. By a cabbage, separate the leaves and put them in the freezer. Then just slip one into your bra. I was told this after I had my son and thought they were insane but it really works. Heat will make the soreness worse. You can buy creams and things but try the cabbage first.

What sort of soreness? dull ache, sore nipples? is it because of anything in particular? i had sore nipples when i was breastfeeding and got an antiseptic spray for them but i'm not sure there's anything you can actually do for sore breasts.

Raw cabbage leaves in your bra WORK. I did this while breastfeeding, and it actually worked. The labor/delivery nurse suggested it to me.
Take a hot shower. It helps too.

depends what it is from. if it during menstruation there is not much to be done. if it is because lumps (non cancer) I believe it is called fibroids or something, then stay away from caffeine-that is what my doc said. sometimes during my period my breasts get sore too.
