I just recently started taking Desogen 2 weeks ago.?

It is the first birth control pill I've ever used. When I have sex my right ovary hurts and I spotted. What's wrong? I've always had bad periods which is why I got on birth control, and also to help prevent pregnancy, but I'm worried something else is wrong too. Any suggestions?

I suggest you go see your doctor, it’s the best thing you can do for your health.

Spotting is not uncommon when starting the pill regardless of the brand and can last for a few weeks but as the other poster said check with your dr to be on the safe side.
