this is very serious.my mom is bleeding for the 3rd day even tho it is not her period .she is 47. and the flow is so strong that she cant even go outside. she is losing too much blood(about 20-50ml at a time)we did lots of research and she is drinking some medical/herbal teas , taking iron ( supplements).she feels very weak and tired, looks pale and the lower stomach pain is very strong .maybe you could give advice.what to do?what might be the main cause for this?

my boyfriend and I had a lot of sex yesterday with a condom every time. After a few times I began to hurt and it seemed like when ever he went in I would feel like I have to urinate. Also, sometimes it seemed like something was blocking him or in the way.

I checked myself out today and there is a small thinly-shaped piece of skin (i guess) that seems like it shoulden't be there. I'm trying to figure out where excactly it is. I tried to see if it would come out but it hurt to pull and felt weird. I wonder if the skin surrounding the urethra tore? (he is rather larger than I am --not to be gross) I was spotting begining the first through to today (today is seems stringy red/pink).

Should I go see my gyn?

OK, first of all, I want you to realize I'm not trying to push anyones buttons. I just want some honest answers, analysis or insight. In the US especially, women are obsessed with weight loss and dieting. Why? Is it the media - i.e. TV, magazines who are to blame- or is there something else?. At the checkout aisle at my local supermarket I noticed that on the cover of every single women's magazine there is information about weight loss, some new fad diet, some new miracle food, some new quick fix. They are essentially diet magazines masquerading as content.

I have been having my period now for 3 years. About every other period it gets really heavy(saturating a super plus tampon in about 2-2 1/2 hrs). My periods also tend to last sometime up 2 10 days. Its just wierd my periods are noraly either really heavy or pretty light. I rarely have a normal flow. I do play sports, and when playing sports my period is normally lighter. My periods are also never regular. I heard birth control would help regulate my periods, shoud i ask my mom about this because i am only 15. I just dont feel comfortale asking to go 2 the gyno. about this because I have had oral sex and dont want her to find out. Please halp........thanks.

My best friend of 14 years was diagnosed with herpes a while back and it has humiliated and devestated her. She has a bad habit of sleeping with people and not telling them until after the fact, afraid that they won't want to be with her.The first guy she was with after the diagnosis didn't care b/c he has such low self esteem anyways and just wanted to stay with her forever. She isn't with him anymore though. After that, she moved onto another man (2 yrs later), slept with him, and lied and said she JUST found out she had it. I get onto her about this but she just gets mad at me. She never wants to tell her partners and then I feel guilty when she sleeps with them b/c I knew. Should I tell her partner if she doesn't or should I just stay out of it?

I have been depressed & unable to control my emotions for the past 7 months, due to a bad breakup. I have been in therapy and also have been seeing a psychatrist. He has put me on several anti-depressants, but my body cant handle them, I get sick or feel worst then before.I dont know what to do anymore. I feel a lot of resentment towards him, I get sad and cry alot, then that fuels alot of anger, in which I dont know how to control. I feel helpless and have very low self esteem. There have been times where I feel I just dont want to be anymore. I dont know how to deal with these emotions, they can be very overwhelming. I have tried to be around positive people, I try to go out. But when I have a moment alone to think, it all comes rushing back. I figured time would help, but it hasn't.I feel alone, betrayed, devalued, and really sad about how it all happened, it was not my choice. What should I do?Can someone who can relate please tell me? Never had depression until this happened.

here's my story...
For a really long time, i've had stomach problems. I could burp well which sounds weird, but I would always beat the guys and everything. In the last few years, I've been throwing up. It doesnt hurt, and I dont try to do it. My food just comes back up. Like i'll be sitting in school and it's after lunch, and i cant do anything about it, so i just have to swallow. It feels like my breath always smells. And sometimes when i feel overly full, I throw up because it feels horrible. I've gone to a doctor and I have pill for "acid reflux", and they kindaa helped, but they're expensive and our insurance wont cover them anymore so i'm not taking them currently. My mom and doctor didnt think i'm bulemic, and i'm just not sure. Because it's against my will...therefor i'm not like sticking my finger down my throat or anything.

I have been going crazy for the passed couple of weeks over this please help me.

I don't have regular periods and i had sex but it was protected but it was also my first time having sex. So would that prolong your period .

My period is not reular its been like that since i first got my period. I have been on birth control for a while. For a month i forgot to take it. I had sex but it was protected. I still haven't gotten my period yet. Can i be pregnant or could having sex for the first time mess my period up.

i also have been sick with bronchitis and have been stressed out because of friends and family and i have been lossing weight for no reason.
