No its not bad. If you are a very active person your period may start late, possibly at the age of 18. Also it depends on your genetics, so don't worry about it. Once you get your period you will hate it so be happy right now without it! Good luck for when you do start!

Some people do not start periods until they are a lot older than you so you are perfectly normal, don't worry, its not bad at all.
You probably feel a bit left out if your friends have started theirs but I wouldn't be in any rush to start them. Once you've started your periods you'll be having them for many, many years so enjoy not having them now! I bet your friends don't like having them at all, lots of girls would love to not start early so just try to chill and don't worry about it - it is normal honey.

Really don't worry. people range form 11-16 and sometimes even later. i started when i was 11 my mum to started when she was 11 maybe ask your mum how old she was because sometimes you start similar age to your mum. It can also depend on weight sometimes if your under 7st then this can affect you starting. If your really worried talk to your mum and maybe go and see a doctor. Meanwhile enjoy it cos when they come you will wish you never started cos they get it the way just have fun.

Count yourself lucky!

Everyone is different and some girls don't start until age 16 and that is perfectly normal.

Your periods will only start once the rest of your body is fully developed.

Enjoy the freedom whilst it lasts.

No its not bad! When your body has developed enough and is ready you will start your periods. In the meantime try not to worry about it too much , it's a pain in the neck anyway!

Not a problem at all. Periods usually begins when your weight hits 7- 7 1/2 stone, so if you are slim, that will be why, you will grow and they will happen and then you will hate them

Nope, it's not a bad thing at all. I started mine when I was 10 and I know of someone who didn't start their's until they were 19. Hang in there!

There is a wide range of 'normal' and you are still within it.You could make an appointment at your local health centre for a reassuring check up. Practice nurse or health visitor may be fine.

Mine started a week before I turned 13 and I cried when it happened as I felt I was too young. Enjoy your freedom! You will get them when your body is ready.
