someone told me that if you drink alot of water while you have your period, it would end sooner. so i tried it one time and drank water like non stop. it seemed to work b/c i only had it for about 3 days. im wondering if it was just a coincedence (?) or if it really works.

I started taking them about 4.5 years ago, stopped for a few months last year, and then started again. While I was off the pills, I lost a lot of weight, but I also experienced serious depression. Now that I'm back on them, I've been gaining at least a pound a month, no matter what I do, but the depression has been milder. I want to stop taking the pills because I think it would be better for me physically, but I'm worried about my emotional health.

I'm interested in any opinions and experiences. Thanks.

I think i might be pregnant.Im on the pill and theres a 7 day break(for your period) at the end of 21 days taking the pill.I dont usually get my period until the 3rd day into the 7day break.But thats normal.However i had sex on the 1st day break,2nd and 3rd.Me&my boyfriend didnt use condoms but he didnt ejaculate in me either.But my period came on the usual day......a little bit delayed.As i usually get in the morning.Its very light and i dont know whether i cud be pregnant or not.Is it possible 2 be pregnant but still get a light period.And im afraid it might stop altogether tomorrow,im hoping i jst keep on bleeding(sorry bout the graphic's).Any help wud be much appreciated.Im just very worried and afraid

bascically, the pain was really bad for about about 6 months,even with taking oral contraceptives (which are supposed to be a big help in this condition), i then had the surgery and after that the pain went away,(i am still on oral contraceptives so as not to have my period, and it is ideally supposed to prevent the endo from returning) but the pain is coming back, so does anyone know what will happen now, since i already had the surgery,as well as have been treated with medicine and neither methods have worked?

It is like if they accidentally touch one while they were digging in your purse, they scream and overreact; even though it is an unused tampon/pad and it is in its wrapper! I first had sex like 5 years ago and had it a lot when I was with my boyfriend. But it has been like over a year since I have, and I did the other night, and now I am so sore. I'm sorry to be graphic, but it kinda looks bruised down there. And my whole body is killing me, my legs, and stomach muscles. And I bled a little.

I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, and how long it took for you to feel normal again. And why would I bleed if I've had sex plenty of times in the past and never bled?

My stomach started hurting with a stabbing pain yesterday morning. After that, I felt terribly nautious the whole day today and yesterday. I even had to miss work becuase of it. I am taking the Birth Control pill but my period falls on weekends and I want it to fall during the week. I could go off the pill and wait until my period starts on a day that would make it fall on weekends but that could take several months. Is there a way I can adjust my schedule while still taking the pill?

to eat whatever I wanted, drink all I wanted and I never got sick or tired. I didn't try to keep from becoming dehydrated I just ran and ran. Now if I drink more than 3 beers I get a stupid yeast infection and a huge hangover! Even if I keep drinking water. I eat wings and drink some beers and get heartburn. This wasn't a problem a few years ago. Is it really called "riding on youth"? I used to have a stomach of steel but I guess I melted the hell out of it already. I can't stay up all night anymore. I swear my food doesn't even turn to energy in my system anymore because I am always tired. I think getting older SUCKS. Could it be a phase?

22 female. endometriosis, stage one ovarian cancer, pcos, nov. 30th ive had laprascopic surgery for the tumor and cancer and endo. im on lots of meds...would they hurt your sex drive? i feel bad because i want to have sex with my boyfriend, but i just cant get worked up you know...and then it takes forever to reach the big o...whats going on here? do you think its psychological after all the trauma im going through or do you think its the meds??? my boyfriend understands, but i feel bad you know. its been a few months since i was first diagnosed with the pain and what not...anyone else have trauma like this and afraid of the pain?

I'm dealing with IBS (Irritable Bawl Syndrome) I have gone to 3 different Gastroenterologist and NO ONE has been able to give me something to make me feel better or control it. I can't live like this! Is so frustrating to not be able to have a good doctor who can heal me, that's why I'm asking you if you suffer from IBS and you are taking any medicine that is helping you please tell me so that I can try to get it. This has even change my mind about having babies because the pain is so strong that I want to heal first before I can even consider getting pregnant.
