The past 3-4 days my breasts have been real sore and tender around the nipples. Could it be anything besides pregnancy??

Low progesterone during the last half of your cycle.
Take an over the counter progesterone cream on days 15-26 of your cycle. Your period would be counted as day one.
There are a lot of brands of progesterone cream.
Pro-Gest is one that's widely available.

Estrogen prepares the body for pregnancy and
progesterone stops the process.

Trying to find the right dose of progesterone can
be tricky. Here are some guidelines.

1. Start out with a small dose (1/4 of tspn, everyday on
days 15-26)
2. If you are still having problems, increase the dose by 1/4.
3. Keep doing that until the problem is solved.
4. Always try to do with as little as possible.
5. Split the dose -
1/4 in the morning, 1/4 in the evening
1/2 in the morning, 1/4 in the evening
1/2 in the morning, 1/2 in the evening
6. Maybe you can take two doses ever other day and one
dose the other days.

Too mush progesterone converts to estrogen.
If you take too much progesterone you be right back at the beginning. If you take too much it will probably take a few
months before you will feel the symptoms.

The best book on hormones is by Stephen Hotze.
He only has one book and you can find it at
the major online retailers.

Other things you can do where you may not need the
progesterone is cleaning up your diet.
Reduce sugar, caffeine, and starches.
Take a multi-vitamin with Iron.
Take acidophilus(good bacteria), especially if you have
had a lot of antibiotics or yeast infection.

They could be growing, your period could be coming or you could be wearing a bra that's wrong for you.

I've had soreness from all of these.
