I got off my period 2 weeks ago and yesterday I was spotting. My stomach was upset last nite and had diarrhea. I have been dizzy the last few weeks. Is there any thing I should be concerned about?

i really need some help here. i need to use a good method of contraception but need to be choosy about which one to use, as i am diagnosed with alopecia areta(hair loss) and dont want anything to make it worse!! i also dont wanna put weight on, which method do you think i should look at??

abt 1 week ago, i forgot to take one pill (from end of first week) on time and took it about 16 hours later and then regularly. i started spotting about 3 days after (and continuing as of today) even as i continue taking the pills.

addt'l info: i am a 24 day cycle.

questions:
1. will my regular monthly cycle return when i am on the sugar pill week?
2. should i stop taking the pills completely now?

Whenever I use a tampon (even for 1-2 hours) I get a bad headache afterward. This has happened for as long as I can remember. Maybe it's just my anatomy, but I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if anyone has suggestions.

my wife would like to get back on birth control but the pill and paches make he moody and sex is not in the option when she moody do you thing the Nuvaring would be a good change .

During my yearly physical, my doctor said that she thought my thyroid was full and ordered blood/lab work. I meant to ask her at the appointment what a full thyroid would indicate, but I forgot.

I have a high metabolism, great cholesterol rate and would say that I am in fairly good physical condition.

But here's my question(s) - What does the thyroid do and what would a "full thyroid" mean? I'm assuming that because she ordered tests, it must not be good. What are the raminifications and/or treatments if I do have a "full thyroid"?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm a 28 year old woman and I find no sensation from intercourse. I feel absolutely NOTHING! It sorta feels uncomfortable and I know to some women, painful regardless of how much they've done it. I don't have any STD's and I'm healthy and I KNOW for a FACT that switching partners has nothing to do with this problem. I have heard that almost 80% of women feel nothing during intercouse? Is that true? I know some men say, "you need to find a man to do it right." I personally believe that's an ego booster for men. I think it's bologna...Thanks to those who answer!

The USA should take the whole abortion issue out of the hands of the government and put it in the hands of the people that created the baby. Every pharmacy should sell an abortion kit. You want to kill your own baby, that is your perogative. Just don't tell me about how, when, where, or why... It really is none of my business. Its your choice and the womans body, right!! You go do the deed and accept any and all risks that go along with it. I'm against abortion, but I don't feel its my business to go telling people I don't even know how to live there life...

i mean like my friend has gone to Egypt before for a month and when she came back she said that she loved it but then she told me about how she had to have a heap load of injections before she went and years after she came back??? i might be going there in march this year but i dont know whether i want to go through having 5 or more injections and taking the risk of catching wateva over there.

I had unprotected sex last month a few days before my period and again just the other day. I am a bit worried b/c with my last relationship I wasn't on the pill so I don't know how this whole concept works. I read that the pill prevents ovualtion from occurring, but does it really? Anyone know of any reasons why I might have been feeling tired all the time lately? I have no urge to get up and do anything any more, I've never been particualry active but this just isn't like me, it's been going on for a few months now and I'm not sure if I should be worried or not! I'm also cold all the time (not to do with winter weather - central heating is a God send ;o)) and I've been having trouble sleeping too - can't get to sleep until 4/5am and then waking up at 8. It's begining to effect my studying too :( Any ideas what could be causing it, or what I could do to try and stop it? Xx~xX
