The USA should take the whole abortion issue out of the hands of the government and put it in the hands of the people that created the baby. Every pharmacy should sell an abortion kit. You want to kill your own baby, that is your perogative. Just don't tell me about how, when, where, or why... It really is none of my business. Its your choice and the womans body, right!! You go do the deed and accept any and all risks that go along with it. I'm against abortion, but I don't feel its my business to go telling people I don't even know how to live there life...

Why is it OK to kill a baby, but if you kill an adult or child, you go to jail for the rest of your life, or even get sentenced to death?
I think abortion is sick and cruel, if you don't want or cant keep the baby, put it up for adoption after it is born, but don't kill it because you don't FEEL like having to deal with a pregnancy.

I agree that women should be able to make their own choice about abortion. It should be their choice not the governments. And i also think it should be a personal matter between a women, her doctor and possible father (if he is involved in her life), but come on now, seriously....an abortion kit. Thats just taking it to the extreme. I dont not believe in abortion as a form of birth control. I believe it should only be used if it is an emergency. And by the way, the pharmacy sells these things that i like to call "pre-abortion kits". They come in pack of 3,6,12,18 and they are called condoms! There is also these little slips of paper called a perscription that lets you get these little tiny pills that you take once a day, or a patch that you change once a week. I hear they are about 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.

I agree with your point, mostly. Having an abortion is a serious decision, and many people don't realize that by the time most women pusue one, they have already reflected on it and considered other options. Come on, it's not like women just wake up and say to themselves, "how about having an abortion today, it sounds fun...". I think it's so insulting that some groups think that women are just being selfish, etc. It's demeaning that people would substitute their own judgment for that of the women who face their own realities every day. For example, last I heard, it takes almost $300,000 to raise a child until adult-hood. It's a very serious responsibility, and people should think twice about jumping in to parenthood.
The "morning-after" pill, Plan B, is approved for safety as an over the counter drug, however, there are real medical risks for D&C abortions. That is why they are only performed in a doctor's office.
