what kind of odor and how long has see been taking the shot? i havent had any good expereinces with the shot I had to get off after only taking it for 6 months i had gained entirely too much weight and it was messing with me complrtly as far as body was hormonaly wise just bad things but i say go to web md and look all the side effects for the shot because the doctors don't always give you the "full" truth about medicine

I think those are normal side effects. It also depleats the amount of calcium in your body and is very bad for you. I was on the shot and got pregnant anyway. She should go to the doctor. Tell your friend she might have HPV.

i've been on depo for about 3 yrs. and i've experienced no sex feelings, some dryness inside, cramping, migrain pain, nausea, weight gain, no period for 3 yrs., once i had light spotting, back pain. i've never had any sort of order or discharge. you need to see a dr. stay on the safe side.

you do realize that its a steroid..
my friend whos bipolar experienced extreme side effects of that shot.. i suggest you tell your friend to never get it again.. it really messes you up...
